We cannot have Bama go on a run. We need snow in Colorado.

Saban's retirement could break the curse.

Congratulations to Kentucky. I like watching that team...they seem to enjoy punching above their weight class.

Carson Beck has looked like shit this game. Bama looks great but GA hasn't made it particularly hard for them.

Oregon vs. UCLA starts at 8 pst for those of you still young enough to stay up late. Not sure it's going to be worth it, though.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine rooting for Bama.
The last quarter was street football. "Go long and cut right after the Chevy."

Ashton Jeanty 211 yds and 3.25 TDs per game through four games. Not bad. Stoked for that dude.

He carved up my Cougs last night, bigly. Watching him reminds me of Barry Sanders. Elusive, strong, and fast. He's the real deal.

We were behind the Wazzu bench and I will say those kids have some good energy and Mateer is really good. He had a great game even with getting sacked 7 times.

Yeah, the blitz packages were too much for our o line. Mateer got blasted and couldn't find a rhythm. Not to mention our receivers had a tough time with getting separation. BSU is a good team. They are in the driver's seat for a CFP spot through the top five autos.

Yup. I think BSU goes (unless they f it up). Iowa State, BYU and Illinois are my "outliers" right now.

When I was watching BSU play Oregon, naturally all my UofO friends were lamenting Oregon's woes but I was thinking that Boise looked really f'ing good. Oregon didn't play their best but some of that was because BSU hit 'em in the chin from the opening kickoff. They will beat someone in the first round of the playoff and I wouldn't want to play them again.

Oregon got lucky that BSU's hammer of a safety Teubner was ejected for targeting in the 3rd quarter. A call that was overturned after the game and he had no following game suspension for their home opener. Not saying it would have stopped UO from winning but it could have been a factor...Gabriel his a long TD pass just a few plays later.

I'm a homer though. BSU is clicking on both sides of the ball right now.

Let’s not get carried away, guy. You guys need a real QB just like Oregon needs a better O Line (2 of our starters were out that game along with our leading LB, but who’s counting). I’m sure your safety is great, but if you had a semi-decent QB to complement that incredible RB, you would have killed us. Madsen is your ceiling this season. Danielson should have started Nelson…that dude is a stud and is going to transfer, again.

Definitely not saying 100% starting line up no injuries or that BSU would go far into playoffs. Only that as an unranked, they didn’t lose by much that day and it could have been closer. Pretty good performances so far for a somewhat limited booster purse.

Absolutely. There is something about BSU that attracts hardcore, blue collar players who punch above way their weight. That and you guys always seem to have great coaches.

Why doesn’t Nelson start? Did he suck in fall camp?

I think an SEC team wins it all with a coach that makes millions

He didn’t suck. Part of that loyal, blue collar thing. Sounds like Madsen out worked him in camp. Danielson was interim coach at the end of last season. AD interviewed other coaches and the players petitioned to give the job to Danielson. My hypothesis is that’s part of why Jeanty stayed and Madsen is starting. Also sounds like the team wants to follow Mad Dog.

Another week, another Rose Bowl matchup (oh, and National Championship rematch) in UofM - UW.

    This is still so weird.

    Congrats to Vandy!

    I’ve said it for
17 years, the 1 thing Nick did better than anyone else, the 1 thing that made Nick great was he NEVER lost games he was supposed to win, ever, not in 17 years. That isn’t normal. Today Bama learned that the hard way
