Eating my words. Legit price and shipping timeline here.

I can assure you that you’re wrong on both accounts. I’ve ordered multiple pairs of pivots from bobs. My record low is $164 for 18’s shipped. Bobs doesn’t do pre orders. They ship items that are currently in stock. They are located in Europe and would receive stock before anyone here in the states.

Okay, sure. I haven't shopped at bobs leisure so you are probably correct. But if you can get a pair at $331 USD I would be extremely surprised.

we’ll call yourself surprised then because that is the price. Oh and my mistake. My low was $159 shipped on pivot 18’s. Again bobs is well known and plenty of people here have ordered from them. Their prices are always much lower than everyone else. $331 is actually kind of high for the rates they usually charge.

I am sure they have some good deals, but a brand new, winter 24/25 binding at 25% off MSRP before 90% of stores even have it in stock is wild.

again they are in Europe. So they are local to look in France which is why they have them prior to the ones here in the states and why they sell pivots among everything else on their site. They’ve been known for years and the place to grab cheap pivots. It’s really nothing new.

Look... I am hearing you loud and clear. Being able to purchase some pivot 1.0s at $159 during some deep off season discount doesn't change that having the 2.0s discounted this early is crazy. Being located in France or not... we are talking about a brand new bindings that most stores won't see until the Fall. If selling them at $332 is intentional then I will eat my words.

No off season sale. They were constantly selling them all season long for under $200. I’ve purchased every set of pivots I own from them. 6 total. Always well below what prices here in the states are. Recently ordered senders for just over $200. I’m sorry you’re new to this site and their prices but what they show is what the price is. No funny games about it. The only downside to bobs is they can change their prices daily. You can $331 today and get a price for $250 tomorrow Happens all the time. But they don’t sell them anywhere near what the shops here in the states do. Do a simple google search for reviews of bobs and pivots. You’ll see this has been the go to place for literally years for cheap pivots. Order a set of the 2.0 right now and you’ll pay $331

Start buying and testing. We all like to use the excuse “for science” for our gear hoarding tendencies, but we actually all have to test these 2.0s out for science to make sure they aren’t bunk. I know the changes are minor, but still.

Sooo, are you gonna jump on the train and sort out the science for us, or are you waiting for somebody else to carry the torch?

I’m definitely getting a pair this season, just waiting for Rossi to put them on some of their other sites. Putting my knees on the line! We need many people to sort it.

My original post was in jest, mainly aimed at the guys buying multiple pairs of new Pivots every season (for good reason).

    Rad!

It’s likely gonna be super close after shipping. I haven’t actually processed this yet, I’m at work currently.. $330 is a ridiculous deal for these new releases this time of year.

might take a day or 2 longer for shipping depending where you are in the us. I’ve usually had mine within 5-7 days from the order. I’m in Florida and they usually ship DHL international which comes decently fast.

The only worry I'd have with gear coming over from Euroland is import duties. You never know when they might be charged. Hell, I bought some bike hubs from just across the border in BC and the seller shipped it via FedEx for some reason. They coughed up about $150 to US Customs and are trying to collect from me.

in all my orders from bobs I’ve never been charged any import duties. What the total is has a lot to do with when and if you’d be charge. Won’t be charged on $331 bindings.

I really tried to resist, but I have a terrible attraction to NEW and SHINY.

    Pair inbound.

Canada always seems needlessly greedy when it comes to taxation. Especially with cross border items.
