^^^My take away from annual HR trainings is don't talk to coworkers about anything not work related. And absolutely never mention anything in the "protected classes"

This probably belongs in the ‘What Phone?’ Thread, but OMFG, do I hate the side button layout on my iPhone 16. (And the fact that you can’t change anything in settings). It may be a left-handed problem, but bloody ‘ell, I take about 5 or more accidental screenshots every day just gripping the damn phone.
SO annoying.

Pixel 8 is no better. The "back" function is to swipe left from the right side of the screen. Guess what? That's the same motion to scroll thru photos and other functions in a bunch of apps. Can't count the number of times I've hit "back" by mistake. And of course when you do that a lot of apps refresh and you inevitably lose whatever you were looking at. Super annoying.

Settings>System>Navigation
Turn on 3 button navigation and you'll get the back button again.

Does it not have the option to turn off gesture navigation and use the old school 3 button? My 6a did, but it is pretty old now.

Dang, maybe i am really left handed. My photo reel is like 1/3 pics of me looking at my phone with a confused look on my face. Kind depressing to look at really. Meh.

How do you have a 16? I thought they weren't being released until next month. My wife desperately needs a new phone and I keep telling her to wait.

The swipe to go back gesture IS annoying. Makes me really miss the OG (and first) Android phone, the HTC G1. Aside from dated specs, that thing was awesome. Oh, gee. A dedicated back button. What a concept! I miss that...

I have a new fork scheduled for delivery today which I was very much hoping to install today and ride tomorrow. Such foolishness...
I wasn't going to be home during the delivery window (are people ever?) so I authorized release of the package without signature on the website. I get a confirmation that the information has been relayed to the driver. A few hours later I get a notification of delivery exception, nobody home to sign. What a surprise. I've played that game with them before and there's no winning so I re-route the package to the UPS store 3 minutes away. That is now a $7 charge, and it may not be available until Friday. How are these brownshirt cocksleeves still in fucking business??
