Okay, I’ll acknowledge that the IST is more fun than watching your team lose 28 straight games to tie the NBA record, but that’s a pretty low bar.

Great game. Ant is amazing. Looking forward to watching him more the rest of the playoffs.

Should be a fun series- I can definitely see this one going 7. Expect Jokic to go off big time in game 2 (not that he wasn’t good last night).

Ant might just be the real deal. Wild to watch.

Nothing the Nuggets have done so far this postseason has given me any reason to be comfortable. TWolves seem hungrier so far.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

I was a big Ant believer after his rookie season, then he had a little sophomore slump and reportedly was a bit out of shape, then last year was a weird adjustment period with that roster (and he was still good). But how easy we forget, he doesn’t even turn 23 until later this summer. Dude is the real deal just had to grow up a little.

Who's Jokic s backup? 2 talented 7 footers could be tough...I like twolves chances.

Aaron Gordon is his playoff backup.

OK Celts, let's make this a 6 game series!

You want your Cavs to lose in 6??? I mean I'm all for that. But I'd think you'd want your team to at least go down fighting. 8)

    I’m trying to manage expectations.

No Jarett Allen is going to suck.

Apparently he can't even put on a shirt right now which that must be really great when you're trying to play post-season basketball.

Hope he and you heal up quickly.

Well the good thing about rib injuries is they only hurt when you breathe.

Mine was in a previous lifetime. Motorcycle accident. Cracked a few, bruised a few. I was young then and thought I was made of indestructanium.

And yes, I wish the guy the best, because ya, it hurts to breathe when you got that going on.

Regarding expectations, I'm predicting 7 games going either way or a 4 game sweep by the Celts, no middle ground. The Celts like to choke at the worst possible times. And the Cavs will definitely put up a fight. That's my hot and runny take.

    I’ve got:
    Celtics in 6
    Denver in 7
    Knicks in 6
    Mavs in 7

I can't argue with any of that, but I'm kinda thinking the Nuggets don't want it enough. Or maybe Jamal is too hurt. Either way, I'm wondering if Minn has the edge now.

Or maybe I'm just an overly nervous Denver fan too used to disappointment.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

It always amazes me how NBA TV announcers have apparently never bothered to read the rule book when it comes to screens. Like they literally don’t understand the rule and just blah blah blah. Go Knicks!

Refball strikes again. That screen call is almost never made, likely can't find an example of that type of "moving" screen being called this whole playoffs. Let alone the "kickball"

NBA is such a farce. Why even bother being a small market team in the playoffs

Stephen A has to be able to talk (incoherently yell) about something right?

Timberwolves are making the Nuggets forget how to play basketball. This is crazy.
