The Sam Adams hazy ipa actually tastes like beer.
Any light NA beer tastes like piss. Just like the alcohol versions.

Picked up the SA hazy last night, not bad. It’s no Sierra green can but I’m taking a vacation from alcohol so it’s a suitable placebo

Many of you know my dad had a serious stroke in his 50s (still cant swallow) so taking this shit seriously.

Now I used to laugh at folks that drank decaf coffee, whats the point? Well when ever other non caffeine laden beverage is full of sugar what are my choices?

Decaf tea harder to find. Would love some good suggestions there tho, hot and iced. Please include where to find.

Still have good beers on occasion but a few and then onto Heineken 0%. Cant drink NAIPAS or similar, to sweet.
Same watching sports. Couple of Guiness/Modelos depending on the sport to start then onto fake beers.
Yes also drinking ton of water and soda stream ( with bitter occasionally) but give me a drink to order when out.
What am I missing (and seriously if its fermented and doesn't contain alcohol keep it to your self)
Doesn’t watching the Dodgies’ frequent failure to reach their potential raise your BP?

Sam Adams Just The Haze + Coors Edge = my goto for NA beers

I am trying to keep both of these stocked in the fridge. It's been nice to grab some beers early in the week when I'm wanting to crack open a drink but trying hard to avoid alcohol on Mon-Weds.

Bonus tip: Take a 5mg fast acting edible, drink a few NA beers and the buzz from the edible kicks in and kind of trick your brain that the NA beers are giving you a buzz.

The Deschutes BB NA is good.

The Crux NA that I tried was terrible. Couldn't bring myself to try another.

Best Day Kolsch is my fave.

Would like to try the Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada.

Do you also have questions about sugar free candy? Gluten free bread/pasta? Alcohol free beer? Low sodium chips?

Poop is a funny and interesting topic to me. Aside from the juvenile reasons why, the actual scientific aspects are pretty interesting.

There have been some studies done that show difficulty pooping, and the need to take more than like a minute to shit, are conditioned responses, thatpeople condition themselves to have trouble shitting, by making a big deal about having to take awhile to hang out on the toilet to scrol their phones etc. Me? My ass cheeks rarely touch a toilet seat. Just squat and fire itout and get it done.

In the same vein, years of coffee useage very well could condition people to shit after drinkingit even if you swtich it to decaf.

Ifyou really straight up quit caffien for a few months, chocolate will give you a full on caffeine buzz.

Gluten free pasta is fine, as some pasta is just gluten free anyways.

But alchohol free beer is akin to vegans who can't getthrough life without imitation meat products.

I'm both a very serious coffee roaster and a former competitive home brewer (and judge!). Today I am drinking a Gesha that would retail around $175/lb, and if I could have that exact same flavor profile without caffeine, I would do it in a heartbeat. Same goes for world class beers like rare Rodenbach releases, really good Russian River, Trappist ales. If I could have the same thing, minus the alcohol, I wouldn't think twice. Ignoring/undermining decaf and NA beers is just ignorance. Same goes for vegan food.

Oh vegan food is fine, some of it can be great, but the very worst vegan food is the stuff that tries to be meat.

I’m partial to Fremont’s NA IPA over the others I’ve tried from Athletic, Sierra, Sam Adams, and Lagunitas.

On a similar subject, my wife picked up some vegan ice cream--Sweetpea brand, Mango Tango flavor. It feels and tastes like real ice cream and the flavor is dynamite. We haven't tried any other flavors. This is the first vegan ice cream I liked.

Go for it. And probably not, they contain a small amount of alcohol, so it depends on how your workplace rules are worded.
