Little V's doing the freeride comp at A Basin this-coming Weds. So, I guess I'll be skiing there Tues and Weds. Shera / Mircat may join us for one of those days.

    Anyone else gonna around?

Yeah, I would like to ski a nice slushy day over there. Frozen over, not so much.

Nice day up there today. East wall was firm and thin but fun. Skied it with my buddy who is a former olympic skier so that was cool. Slush love for sure. Hoping tomorrow can get there before snow moves in. We will see.

Asked our beach neighbors to turn their music down just a little and they gave us lip. So that didnt end well. Told them to play some slayer or gtfo. They left. Haha

    Another beautiful day in paradise.

What were they playing? Some ALT dance crap?

Some jerkoffs rolled into Utah Lot at Mary Jane the other morning blaring hardcore rap with the N word every other word. The boomers in the lot were horrified.

It was more the volume than the music selection. It sounded like a dace party, but it was like three chicks sitting in camp chairs staring at their phones. Offended when i called them out on it.

Should be good if you can avoid hitting bottom. Yesterday was pure concrete.

The 22" at Copper should be sufficient... for awhile.

    This morningnwas fucking tits!

Yeah, we hit crust, but overall it's been a great day, so far.

Ran onto Summit on the lift, and he gave us a tour of the Pali side. Waaaay over my head at times- I'm sure there's some incriminating pix. Fun times!

Took em to the alleys, west turbo, spine, etc. Gauthier was still closed. They were bombing it. Steep gulleys, upper/lower wall, and zuma were closed. Beavers opened right as I left, but bet that was windfucked.

It was nice to meet you Viva and Jr.!

Beavers was best skiing on mountain today

Got a choker face shot when I hit Davis after the rope drop

Was only going to do one but ended up doing 4 and would have kept going but I had to work. West Trees were glorious.

Access to the White Room was granted multiple times today.

I don't think it's normally open in mid April?

super fun day out there. pali had a little bit of variable snow going on this morning but it was really good in places too. The alley's were super good and was choking on snow through there. caught rope drop into beavers then another rope drop on zuma cornice. I was skeptical about that largely because seeing was a challenge but once I dropped in visibility opened up and it was actually really good.

wanted something a little wider than the mindbender 108s at times as it was easy to really sink the tips in

Today woulda been good day for renegades or 124s. But the 112s worked... so woulda EHPs. But the first 3-5 laps? 138s woulda been the call

I only wanted my revolt 121's after the first lap, then the 110's were plenty the rest of the time. Just silly good day up there, and the best part was basically zero lines right after opening.

Was very pleased I took the Ghost Trains out, truly incredible ski for 126 under foot and the 194 was awesome for the untracked run outs

Heading up in a few to see how the leftovers reheat

I'll be out there again today. Knee's fucked, so taking it easy. Will be in spectator coral at the comp until Jr. finishes her run.

Incredibly filthy mustard pants, black Free Ride Systems jacket, and probably a hat & glasses.

Injury from December. Supposed to have been a simple LCL tear, but it's more than that. Very hard to ski anything fun today. Set up to watch the.comp, then done.
