Then, they sent a photo of said donuts clenched in the butt cheeks of SSP. Photo used to be posted in original SSP patrol shack.

Kinda funny to see a boarder put one track across the whole entire middle apron with 10 people standing behind them.
We did what we could to preserve. Helped having the choke to gunners right of Country Lane filled in vs having to traverse farther East. The sun took its toll shortly thereafter. Lots of wet slides on S facing LCC today. Elberts? Little Pine, Cottonwood Draw, Monte Cristo Gully, Superior, Little Superior, Cardiff Buttress.

Then, they sent a photo of said donuts clenched in the butt cheeks of SSP. Photo used to be posted in original SSP patrol shack.

The above story? Best prank ever. On xmas morning 1988? there's a 2 boxes of donuts on the tram dock to the SSP from the ASP.
Brutal morning, windy and snowing and shoveling snow onto a cat road from above on account of a low snow year.
No snow making around then.
Had two chocolate ones and went to work.

Fast forward to April 1st, and there's a package on the tram dock to the SSP from the ASP.
Same year as the patrolman Fog in the Main Chute; I saw the package before the boys on my way to pranking but didn't peek.
Whilst coming home from Baldy, get a call on the radio. "Jimmy, they got us." Won't tell me how says I need to "see for yourself".
I'm thinkin "shit what we just did was pretty damn good, what the hell did they do?".
It was a two by four foot piece of the funniest artwork I've witnessed as a prank.
Three pieces of paper on the artwork.
Left side one was a computer generated image of a girl pushing a wheelbarrow fulla candy, a "sweet tooth certificate".
Right side one was a chalkboard with in large and artistic lettering "Merry Christmas and Happy April fools. Hope you liked the donuts".
Center and larger was a photo of 15 Alta patrolmen bent over, chalkboard in the background, with donuts shoved up their arses.

How anything can stay secret in the LCC for 3 months is amazing in and of itself, but yeah, takes the cake on the prank rivalry.

It was just a couple weeks ago that I learned that the awesome hilarious Snowbird patrol take over of the Alta Ski Patrol instagram

happened because a certain Evil Gennius of a Snowbird Patroller had registered the @altaskipatrol insta account four years previously and had posted enough good and legit seeming Alta Ski Patrol content to establish credibility. Combination of the insta takeover and monolith made that my favorite in recent years, second place would be same Eveil Gennius's work painting high boy in snowbird colors in 2011
