FWT-- change Tenra's name to Tenla. L. The announcers have picked up on it.

Another great comp. If Georgia demonstrated how good these guys are when given good snow, Fieberbrunn demonstrated that the snow doesn't really matter and they'll kill it regardless.

I always enjoy the battles between the fast, fall line approach (Turdell, Richards, Hitzig) and the more trick oriented approach (Bilous, Chabloz, Katsuno). This venue in particular is good for that, since there's winnable lines in both categories.

Mostly agreed with the judging on this one too. Maybe would've put Goguen above Hitzig, but [shrug]. Psyched that Richards, Katsuno, and Bilous all put down strong runs. Keeps things interesting. Looking forward to seeing what Richards can do on the Bec.

    Fcuk, that was good.

Stoked to see the Kiwis do well, of course. And Turdell, so good. And Tenla, Marcus, Max. Geez, it's heavy lineup.

Pretty good. My biggest gripe with it was that, in non-drone shots, you can sometimes see the drone as a little black speck on the screen, and I kept momentarily thinking I needed to swat a gnat off of my computer.

Anyone know why Turdell bailed on run #2? Also, I think De La Rue was overscored for his win. It didn't suck but....

I hate when I’m on MST and I click on the replay a few hours after the comp and it has the men’s ski winners on the side…wtf. Way to ruin it FWT.

Completely agree. (Just posting here hoping that FWT reads it and knows what a mistake it is to ruin the outcome. Fans (like me) do legitimately avoid social media until they can watch it.)

I thought he was overscored as well. So did Derek and Anna. Even after two runs, a guy that fell on his scoring run got third which is a bit rididculous.

Love how competitive mens skiing FWT is this year, and as someone said above the difference in styles from pure charging freeride, to more freestyle approaches and then hybrids like Marcus who mix both approaches in. Really enjoyable to watch the comps. FWT seem to have made the "winners run" a generic thumbnail/title, at least the ones I am seeing, but the GoPro YT channel does include winners names and they frequent appear in "related videos" or whatever it's called on the right/below the main vid.

Watched the CB Challenger series live today. Woman went huge, massive backflips. Men were bonkers. Huge double front, crazy pillow lines. I wouldn't want to be the judge.

We sat down to watch a few of the woman skiers but ended up staying for all of it.

Fun to listen to the competitors who sat near us talking after the runs, and good shit for my 13 yo girl.

The event was stacked with talent and the venue is classic CB. Stoked to have had the opportunity to be there.

i'm still trying to grasp what Chabloz was trying to do when he blasted his airbag before they announced the score for his second run. Some sort of celebration? whatever it was it made me even more stoked for ben richards, chill dude, solid skiing.

even when they had that little chat with chabloz telling him "never get into the couloir in fieberbrunn" i felt some strong jock vibes, good on ya Ben

Somebody in the crowd asks him to do it (in French). Even fwt athletes suffer from peer pressure!

That dude who did the double front flip is this ripper J-Pac. A gnarly Frenchie who's been living in his car in the Creekside underground in Whistler for the last couple of years. He's a total beauty and an absolute lunatic on skis. Great to see him getting some exposure.

There’s a YouTube video about J-pac. Titled something like “most hardcore ski bum at Whistler”. I can’t imagine skiing Bell to Bell everyday and living in a compact car. Dude brings some serious stoke

Just caught up to Fber and man, the men’s skiing is so crazy good in recent years. There are runs that don’t make the podium that would have blown us all away a decade ago.

I just finished watching “Todd Ligare’s’” short movie “Prototype” and I’ve got to say I felt dizzy watching all that FPV drone footage…..
