That was it- same color - not anywhere near as clean or thoroughly sorted as that car - but I went through many highs and lows with it. Bought it with engine apart in trunk , rebuilt it - pimped it for a while then sold it in lieu of towing charges… ahh youth

I should probably let him post this, but a while back Wooley sent me a picture of his first car.

Mine was 3 years old but had obscene miles on it. It was suburban beat up and it was cheap. It was super cool and I thrashed the fuck out of it. There are some pretty cool rides though for sure

This might be the best thread for this question. Guy selling rims and tires for promaster (odd lug spacing so somewhat rare). He says he paid $3200 total and wants $1500 firm. I'm seeing the same rims for $1050 and tires for $850 (ongoing sales). Add tmps, mounting, balancing, and I'm probably in for $2100 for new with tire warranty.

Sucks for him, but I'm thinking $1200-1300. He says 1 summer of wear on the tires, and they've been in storage since.

Thoughts on pricing? $1500 seemed like a decent deal until I looked up new and saw the sales.

^^ This unless you need the extra set of wheels. Even if that's the case I'd still think more like $1k, did they really sit indoors or did they bake in the sun?

Thanks guys, I agree that the warranty and potential Les Schwab roadside service wins out.

Do you have an affinity for faux wood paneling?

Do you enjoy spending your winters in The Villages, Florida?

Do you own a pair of white New Balance sneakers and white crew socks?

    Do you have $4,000?

The spiritual awakening your loins have been waiting for

Power comes from a 2.6-liter Mitsubishi Astron inline-4, rated at 93 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission.

That's flat out pornography. Should come with a warning from Tipper Gore.

I don't think I'd pay for it but if one ended up in my driveway I'd be happy to take it for a cruise. If it kept running I'd even bring it back home.

Or perhaps you’re someone who is touring the facility and picking up slack. Maybe changing your name from Kitty to Karen.

I envision a Florida where it's just Bobby and Ashlee out there trying to hold back the unvarnished masses, one convertible Bentley at a time.
