Once you got out of the village cluster the skiing was sweet.

Targhee ended up being pretty good today if you found wind protected areas. Lines went down a lot once people started moving around.

Tuesday this past week was the day of the week though for sure.

Shot in the dark - anyone got a village buddy pass they can spare? Hoping to spin lifts and check in on the parade for kiddos last day of ski school for the season. PM me. Thanks.

I can't imagine what the scene is in the cliff areas after a 2' dump. Seems like there'd be a lot of hucking going on. Would love to learn my way around there better someday.

In the event that isn't snark, I'll answer: yesterday's snow had some density to it (8%?), which is a lot for 2'+... required getting really far forward to keep it moving. At one point I came to a stop straightlining a 30-degree slope. (It was starting out, but still... we laughed.)

SOOO good out there today. New, light snow on top of all the snow that fell yesterday.

No snark, it’s a great pic

Fun time at Targhee. Great skiing Friday. Thought the first couple runs Sunday were pretty awesome too. No speed limit on that stuff! Went on Comp dad duty for a bit then finished the day with some heavy duty chop bashing. Love that shit for some reason. Had some delicious meals too. Badger creek cafe. The Mexican joint in Driggs I can’t spell and the Thai place in Victor.

I appreciate the compliment on the pic! Looked up stats and the snow was more like 10-12% that day, which makes sense.

That skier in the photo takes a bunch of heat here, so didn't know if your comment was coming from that place. But he's an amazing human — about the nicest, most-stoked guy/friendly/community-minded person you will find — and he skis a ton of pow. He's an incredible friend.

I wound up with 188 images that were bangers. Here are just a couple. 3,000+ feet of this.

(This one looks Photoshopped but is not — I love it for the trippiest lines of snow, particularly around his body.)

Village was empty today. Snow was pretty damn nice. Laps were fast. Legs were still cooked from yesterday. The Moose called early.

Dunno how you're not over rotating your backies with your massive nuts throwing off your centrifugal force.

Tuesday was the cat's ass Sunday had moments. Now, back to the tractor to keep the driveway manageable,

Def. not me! I like to ski with the Bridger freeride kids sometimes (my kids and their buddies), take pics, and make sure they don't do anything dangerous Those kids are all amazing skiers and I love hanging out and skiing with the youth. Thought it was a classic big air ski photo so was stoked to share.

    Thank you!

This image is from today — the snow was really light and dry yet creamy.... VERY different than Saturday's snow. Cold temps (~0F) & wind seemed to dry it out at least where we were.

Heard lots of reports of wack snow Sun/Mon....

Had 100+ "keeper" frames from today alone.... was pretty wild. I'm pretty ruthless editing and toss out 90% of images immediately. MANY of wall-hanger quality. Wish I didn't have to down-rez for posting. They look good on a 30" monitor and could be blown up to 40-50" wide.

Nowhere near the same quality of photo, but I liked this one cause he’s mid spin and you can sense how fast he’s going from the length of the untracked snow under him he’s gonna clear.

    I appreciate the compliment!

Also..it's not uncommon for folks to say "you should sell images" or "you should open a gallery!" — but there IS a difference between those statements and actually forking over cash.

That said, I am putting out a book, and I do sell images, so which one(s) would you like? :-)

(For real — if my images bring you any amount of joy or stoke I love it!)

    Love the shot!

As an aside, this image made me thing back to the time when I was first learning 360s — we called them helicopters back then — we held our poles over our heads, parallel to the ground... like a rotor. Your boy is obviously going huge here and probably in the middle of doing something with his hands.... just made me think.

    Thanks for sharing!

That's basically like istock, unsplash, pixabay, pexels - some free photos... better, more pro stuff is paid. Works for some photogs.

Anyway - shout out to nbabucks1 and kokomas. Good dudes.
