    Sawiri's upscale development of the Chedi caused a fallout like the Radisson of much higher prices in Andermatt hotels.
    10 years ago, the Aurora Hotel had a 4 day all inclusive deal (bed, half board, lift tickets) for $620. It's since been sold and being upgraded.

    Not sure they’re that bummed. The super rich don’t ski much and the value of their properties will just go up. It’s the skiers who will suffer from the extra traffic

    Not sure that’s true. Judging by the FWT qualifiers this year Verbier has the best Freeride club in the world

    That means that you live in the most bestest place in the world! Awesome!

    I'm sure the destination travellers will enjoy it just as much.

    Snow for the Euros.

    Did Vail acquire wepowder too? Moritz has been posting about this storm system on fb and made me realise he has ‘former founder’ in his bio.
    Probably making my way to the carinthia/sazlburg border for this one.
    Slovena/Italy border is showing some impressive precip numbers.

    Snow level is usually a Problem there.... as opposed to the Western south. It seems al right this time though.

    Powderguide will update tomorrow I guess numbers and regions have been fluctuating quite a bit.

    You mean Morris? meteomorris?
    Wepowder has always been a bit over enthusiastic.

    @subtle plague, you could sell out powder guide to vail resorts. Your charismatic charm with your meteorological knowledge should be worth 000,000's.

    If it's dumping, ski the trees off Graukogel or the North facing treeline stuff off the Stubnerkogel towards Angertal. Nothing super gnarly steep here, but good, fun steep pitches.

    If it clears, head up to Sportgastein. There's shitloads of clenching stuff up there and if there's tracks and decent stability, go find the sidecountry to the Heilstollen vapor caves (bus pickup).

    If it's clear and really stable, get a guide and train it to Mallnitz, then over to Moetaller Gletscher and do the ski back to Sportgastein:

    Stay at the https://www.hotelechobadgastein.com/ , Hendrikka will set you up with great options.

    On it. Although I'm only a cog in the ever turning machinery and have no Power whatsoever over these grand decisions. Which is for the better...I guess. [emoji3]

    @Buster
    Yea, thats who I meant -meteomoriss.
    I will be in Mallnitz first week of April with the kids and planning to steal an afternoon to do Schareck to Sportgastein and back to Mallnitz via train. I have researched the route/s, but will need current beta on the conditions towards the end of March (like is the ice tongue covered). Are you local to the area? Can I hit you up next month for current info?
    Thanks for the heads up on Gastein.

    @Rossy
    I am heading that way tomorrow, but I am a gastein virgin, so no real intel besides looking at maps. If you see someone on HL skis, chances are its me. Say Hi. We can do a lap honouring Baz.
