Oh man. The new Commander 102 (182) is a really, really, really good ski. The tune and build instantly caught my attention the ski is soo smooth. Tune feels dead on for me. It instantly made me feel right at home and I ski progressive twins 99.999% of the time.

Honestly, I wouldn't call it demanding at all if you have decent form. Bumps, firm snow, trees, drops, manky snow, soft slush. Awesome.

It definitely takes a driver behind the wheel, but absolutely nothing unexpected from this ski. If you ski progressive skis, this is the traditional ski you want to try. It had all of the extra ass I wanted with almost no downside.

Love it. I'm so happy with this ski. I can't wait for a day with good vis where I can fully open them up.

Yeah, and now I'm considering the 92. Hmmmm.

My $.02 is that the ad copy is a little more intimidating than the ski really is. I ski 183-191 generally. Grabbed the 182 and I'm totally happy with the choice. The nice young lady at Moment advised me to size down, I thought for about 1/2 a second of doing the 177, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns. It really makes it a great "all-mountain" ski. I tried to find a place that it didn't work yesterday and couldn't. It wouldn't be my first choice in the giant, random shaped moguls, but it worked as well as a wide, long- ish ski could work there. My favorite aspect of the ski was its ability to flatten softer moguls. I ripped big GS style turns through some tracked snow that was starting to set into moguls. They went right over the top, carving into them like a ginsu when I wanted to turn. It put a huge grin on my face. I went and did the same line on the same run three times. So much fun.

Not sure. I know very little about the Commander lineage. They wouldn't normally have been on my radar, but I've been wanting a ski I could push harder and Moment is right here in my back yard. I had to give them a go. I'm that I did. The build feels very dialed. Lots of rebound in a super linear fashion. I feel no hinge points in the flex. Plenty damp, but not dead (Enforcer) feeling. Edges and tune felt perfect. Sharp with excellent hold, but easy to break the tails loose if you unweighted them. IMO, this is a very dialed ski.

I don't think there's rubber in the older versions and Blister doesn't mention anything.

I've had the C108 for awhile and just had my first day on the C98. Love, love, love these skis. Can ski anything and any turn shape I want. Damp and composed through anything but definitely not dead. Not "playful" by any stretch but they are not completely locked in all the time. Really looking forward to more days on them.

they migrated it onto the main site so you can add bindings and other items to the purchase. Also get free shipping depending on the price of the ski.

Got my boy some Carson’s for Xmas and we’re very stoked on them. Ski great - look dope. The low slung rocker is really working for him. The topsheet has got to be one of the best I’ve seen them do imo. Click image for larger version.

The factory mount point is pretty centered (-4cm). I can mount these for her boot at -5cm or -6cm from center. I’ve read some issues with tip dive with these. These skis may even be a little short for her.

Think -6cm from center might be the way to go? Anyone have input? The skis have hash marks out to 2cm in front and behind the recommended point

Saw them in person and the colors really look good. I think it’s cool they’re doing dedicated kids graphics.

I was checking those out while my skis were being mounted. Could be my kids next ski.

My 9 year old is on 146 Carson’s and 138 enforcers this year. Loves the Carsons. Edge grip not as good as enforcers on firm conditions.

my 10 year old has 148 mantra jrs and 150 j skis joyrides. Once he got the joyrides he hasn’t skid the mantra jrs and probably won’t again.

Where would this ski deliver where the Deathwish doesn't? Or is this just splitting the difference in the widths?

I love all the CT love. I'm excited for the Utah demo fleet to launch. Inbounds I ski a DW104, DW112, and Ghost Train. I'm interested to see if a CT fits in the quiver or not.

I’m pretty sure the CT tour is a go. I wonder if it would go 120+ on the wide CT or should I say supertosh lol

Would love a rerelease of the triple camber Exit World. Shave a few hundred grams or give me a 190 vs the OG 186. Just saying. Best powder touring ski.

more pivoty and playful with the flat bottom under foot vs the camber pocket of the deathwish.
