I'd rather be powder hunting in a tramper van hitting a variety of destinations than have a 1.8mil chalet if I'm too be honest. You're going to take some great family memories to heaven (maybe hell) from times spent cruising in the tramper van

Man, I feel like I've dived on a grenade to take the explosion. I reckon I contracted from a Dutch chick in the sauna when I wafted the towel in the air and had the meat and 2 veg swing like a helicopter. That's what you get for showing off I guess. Have a good un tomoz @beer30 should be a gud un

I never trust the local press with this kinda report. Their story evolves as the days go on and more facts come out. There was a slide a weekish ago in the mont blanc evasion area mother and son killed. That story changed direction by the hour in the local press

Right. It seems rather specifically different with the given details.

    Sweet Arlberg vid.

Those short spine lines are choice. Plainly those guys know the approaches well. Lotsa blind ups to killer flows.
Coupla flat landings and stuffins; those guys have strong backs.

Keep up the good stoke. Moar pics pleez.

There is that. Maybe we should make a TGR euro callender. We could be the main attraction. I'm also very good looking. I've got really good legs too. I'd prefer to do the speedo hallenbad shots if you're OK with that?

Bit the bullet, and planned a trip to Selva/Wolkenstein at the end of February. It'll be our first time spending any time in Italy, other than a one-day quick hit in Livigno a couple of years ago. This is really more of a "see the pretty sights" trip than a "ski trip" if that distinction makes any sense - legs aren't what they need to be for a serious ski trip, and we were just looking to mix things up.

Is there a recommended site to check weather/snow conditions as we get closer in case we need to make changes to our plans? At this point, we're booked for a garni in Selva, and would lose our deposit if we change things too much, but we'll have a car and could get to other places if it would make a difference. (Obvious next question would be "if we need to scramble, any suggestions?")

    https://www.bergfex.com/groeden-wolkenstein/wetter/ .

It's easy to get to Austria from there, provided the roads are decent or you take a train. Either over the Brenner Pass or more scenic Bruneck/Brunico to San Candido and then Spittal an der Drau where you can get to Bad Gastein via a tunnel.
