Staying on ski hill road (powder valley or teton creek resort) reduces time on the bus.

I get my steaks at the Victor valley market. Much better than Bro’s although I’ve never tried the aged stuff

Nice to get some tram laps with familiar faces today. Mind the rock band at the bottom of the bowl still. Foud some nice snow in cheyenne left of bivy woods. Regulars getting poachy. Not me yet

Damn best day of the season so far right there. Nice soft snow and some blizzard conditions. Just what I needed.

Took some laps with Truckee Joe after getting in the early cavalcade. Workers tracked a lotta the best cow pow but the off piste really became skiable today. Not 100% safe but skiing nicer and less to hit.

Blowing like a sumbitch all day too. Sideways in town right now. I bet hockey is gnarly over at the rodeo rink.

    Tomorrow will be interesting.

Of course we get a big wind event first after a prolonged dry, cold, hoarish spell.

    Any visiting mags around?

I'm so psyched for winter to be back. We really needed the snow to cover up all the dog wizz spots on our meager snowpack

Before today, we barely had any snow at our house and I took this terrifying picture 2 days ago of a Lilac shrub in our yard with what I think are some mini buds

I'll also get a morning ski on Thursday before heading to the office in the afternoon so shout if anyone wants to meet up. Andrew is coaching steep and deep this week so he will be clotting rather than keeping me company.
Djongo- assume you'll be out early which I will be aiming for so will holler direct

Storm skiing is the best. Had a killer day out there today. New trail openings were still happening late in the day. It’s feels good to be tired after a day like that.

Gonna try to leave on Thursday now and even if we need to go the longer way. Desperate times.

Did a few laps south of the resort today. Still PLENTY of stuff to hit. Slabs building would also be an understatement. Many here have not seen snow structure like we have currently so throw in a little extra caution even on "stuff that's always safe" and watch your overhead. All that said I visited a zone that has no rock hazard to speak of and was rewarded with knee plus deep fluff...the goods were good.

Ms. Schindler, Hazel and I will be in Jackson from 2/22-28. The Mrs. and I have IKON passes, but I would like to obtain some sort of discount for a friend who I would like to ski with. I'm not sure whether IKON does F&F at JHMR? Does anyone know off-hand. That IKON website gives me a headache. Otherwise, can anyone steer me to access to any discounted day (or 3 day) passes to JHMR. TIA

I'm pretty sure the Ikon F&F works at the village. Local passholders get some 25% off buddy vouchers too. I gots one for yas if the ikooknik doesn't work.

    Let's turn.
