The forecast seems consistently inconsistent at the moment. The weather in Verbier was beautiful this weekend, with the exception of my wife being in Paris and my Saturday/Sunday turns taking place with my 3 year old daughter.

Hot/cold, moisture/no moisture, Monday morning pre-holiday week back in the office model playing. Forgive me, I am originally from the East Coast where a fucking from the weather was the standard. At least here, the weather throws in a bit of lubrication.

For what it's worth: there should be a powderguide alert for the 21/22 and maybe more dumpage christmas.

It's a battle of the Euro versus NAmerican prediction models at the moment

Surprisingly, the Euro model is more snow optimistic.
    wepowder uses a combo.
    bergfex uses the Euro.

Bulgaria, hence my interest in broader Euro forecasts. Besides general meteo nerdery. Now that Jan is approaching, I am sniping Alps forecasts for my yearly weissepow pilgrimage...or two, or three maybe, if the Easter holiday with the kids brings some points.
Anyway, good start to the season here too, dog skied three times in Nov already. Resorts opened this weekend, skied with my older kid (younger is recovering from a broken arm, so maybe 10ish more days in the pitlane).

It looks like the Alps are going to be getting in great shape… but it’s a complicated situation… could be cement powder… or am I wrong?

No. Surselva should be good. It's cold enough.
Above 2000m the wind will be howling
So no pow in the alpine

Sounds like the big dumps around here!

I am totally ignorant on this Europe skiing. Looks like area around Lech is going to get pounded. Lech seems expensive. I was wondering if Zurs would be a good place to base out of for a week. Looking at end of February.
