There's been in a big loose block on Goodro's for as long as I can remember, and it's made me shit myself every time I got to it. This was a different block, much lower on the route, and AFAIK not suspect whatsoever. Tragic story.
There was a somewhat related incident this winter in which a gem of a human was killed by a falling ice column somewhere in NE UT. Apparently while pushing the belayer out of the way. She was killed, leader injured, belayer OK. Can't imagine living with that.
