Whenever I see one of those I kinda just want to punch the owner in the nuts.

I wonder how many of those rigs ever make it more than a few miles off pavement.

Can you imagine navigating a steep switchback on a jeep road in that thing?

Call in an airstrike and make your own road.

    It should!

That's basically what I was getting at. It's one thing to accumulate gear/crap over time, but another to drop $40k on the truck, and another 10-20 on accessories in one go.

That person is not fucking around. what's the ketchup count? Are those individual condiment cans or a double and quad wide? I hope those solar panels are on hinges.

Looks like it would suck just as much to drive on the road as off.

    He wasn't going very fast.

From the color of the cover I'm assuming ketchup is his choice for diff lubricant as well.

Indeed. It looks terrifyingly top heavy; I'd probably piss myself on a windy day on a curvy road.

It does give an authentic vibe of 'does shit' tho.

Could it be that much worse than a high-roof sprinter or one of those BlissMobil things?

Yup. Unlike many of the shiny, never been off-pavement examples here, THIS one might actually be legit. Looks almost like a rig a geologist, paleontologist, or archeologist might have to get to remote areas for extended periods of time.

I dunno why, perhaps its the nice layer of dirt, but I have a sneaking suspicion this one gets used properly.
