I’m excited to see him rise from the ashes and compete, again.. I like his gorilla style. Hoping he can make it to some of the real venues to see just how he does on super consequential terrain against pure big line chargers, not movie lines. I’m taking nothing away from him but he hasn’t competed on the big faces yet. Maybe my memberberries are moldy tho.

It's not so much the age. For example I'd be super excited if it was Candide that got announced, and he's older by a year.

Maybe he needs more money for dental work? Like in the one Video where he looked old 5 years ago?

Pretty sure Eder has an open invitation to compete whenever he wants, like when he did just one event. Definitely miss watching him - although that video he put out last year was incredible.

He also mentioned in the video i posted a bit back his year on the tour was his worst year of skiing, because of being on the tour.

I think THall still spends the majority of his winter in the Revelstoke area, easy commute and low time commitment to show up in KH. Keeps his name out there and brings in some viewers. A win for both of them a loss for anyone who cares about the quality of skiing on the FWT.
Tanner is a legend and all that, but I don't like this idea.
It's so hard to get into these comps for the up and coming athletes, I feel like he's just blocking someone else's chance.
Especially if he's not going to do the whole tour and just show up for one event.
IMO, he looked out of place the last time he competed.
But if it's just a stunt to get viewers, I guess it'll work, because here we are talking about it.
I'd rather the FWT stay off mainstream radar
Right now we watch it for free, and that's really cool in this world of pay per view everything
I like watching Tanner ski ,but clearly he was not in top form last time he popped in. Well if he's there, may as well wish him good luck at least.
slight rant>People really should stop paying to watch sports - they were very profitable before internet and subscriptions on free tv. There's enough revenue from commercial ads to support players and teams with a ton of profit. I sure hope FWT never gets caught up in the pay per view/subscription cr^p

I think candide would be a contender

I rip the groomed on tele gear
They should create a masters class at one of these events. Competitors have to be at least 35(?) years old. Just do it as a one off thing so hopefully they could stack it with guys like candide, tabke, t-hall, etc.
I like that idea Toast. They do something like this at some some WSL surf events, were a bunch of legends come out and compete against each other in a heat, with no effect on the actual tour standings. The viewers get to see some of their heroes, the heroes get some content for their sponsors, but the event and overall standings aren't impacted.
Here's one:

More events would be cool as well. Would love to see 7 + tour stops. Feasible… probably not, but hopefully as free ride grows it becomes a possibility.
