He's a super nice young man and a really great skier. Super stoked to see him get there, and not surprised other than that I wasn't sure he'd come back to competing after he graduated from college.

I said it before, but imagine if the FWT ran like the Big Wave Tour. The window for an event is Nov-May. Event organizers give the competitors a week notice that an event is going to run when the conditions line up.

Of course there’s a million reasons why this would never work, but a guy can dream.

That could easily work. The biggest issue is these guys get a laughably low amount of money from their sponsors. Guys on the big wave tour are getting enough money that they can move anywhere in the world with a weeks notice.

Watching all of these POV videos from the Bec, I freak out every time when they drop in and take that hard right turn across the traverse over some pretty serious exposure.

Ross Tester's POV made for a good watch: https://www.instagram.com/p/CbxgHsVuPg8/

I love at the end "I was so happy to land on my feet on that one." Ha, talk about an understatement!

Dogleg is here. That last one is taken from Mont Fort so the dogleg is hidden over the ridge

I thought maybe you were exaggerating... but no. How can they even call that a comp venue?

I liked that face, the conditions, and also enjoyed the excitement of the announcers!

Shout out to Tahoe's own Molly Amarnino for securing a wild card spot this season.

That was super cool to see people using the resorts during the pandemic. We tried a few times here in the rockies with a sort of yes but sort of no from a few resort folks but it turned out to be a big no go. At one point the horse police escorted us out lol.

The story Sounds pretty heroic to me. Lots of 2020 stories. There was no powder during march 2020 only one tiny snowfall on march 30 so april first, was northfacing 15cm of fresh. Not many people out as the country was in lockdown. Cornskiing was on..... but did not see it in the video.

That Video has to be partly 20/21 which was an an amazing winter.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
