The Snake Pit is also a great place to meet….friends….and find a place to stay.

Don’t worry about the mining legacy of Kellogg during the winter. Just don’t play in the river and you’ll be fine.

If anyone is interested and conditions line up a group of peeps are headed to lookout sunday. Coverage is thin now but they are looking to get significant snow fall before then. Been raining hard in CDA the last few days with some white stacking up high. Silver webcams look good with Lookout’s improving.

It’s official

@Bourbonisgood and I skied 1200ft to the lot on Mt Spokane today!! Legit 16” of good base building snow. Didn’t find a single rock or stump. I brought the wrong tool for the job, had low expectations so packed my 180cm fish scaled skis. Skiing would have been a blast on a big ole fatty ski a BG would have feasted.

Let’s go!!

Well I’m out. Massive rain to 7kft+ last night. Runnels are in full effect up there. Frick!

Meh, it’s good for the base. It’s early Nov, if it stays cold and we get one more dump, it’s game on.

Yeah, snow looks terrible on the webcams. Hopefully it sticks around and we get another dump soon.

I got the wax iron out yesterday and Ullr rewarded us with a couple inches in town. The Lookout webcam looks decent, I’d be up there if I wasn’t working today!
