Don’t let that scare you, that’s back when college was cheaper.

Ready to (maybe) take the gamble on that 760i. I at least want to take a look at it to get the straight scoop. Of course dude doesn't answer phone call or text. VM is full. Prolly for the best. WTF is wrong with me? Haha

You guys are killing me with some of my all time, top wants. Opel GT, Saab Sonnet III, XJS (but I prefer the sweet ass big 6), you forgot the 1800ES and Series 3 E Type FHC 4.2.

If you're willing to go with an auto there's all sorts of good stuff showing up lately. Is there an actual budget you want to work with?

You also get the canvas half top thingie. And it says “Bostonian” in fancy writing. Sheesh. Tough crowd.

I’ll bet that fucker still pulls tho. That 4.6 was not a bad motor. It’s a boat coupe. RWD. I bet it goes so cheap at that auction. I’ll admit, it’s pretty hideous, but everything is pros and cons.

Oh, and it has the aux light on the pillar. Those are dope. The cops are looking for bimmers.

    Same auction, different price range:

Cougars are like Lincoln coupe’s to me. Nice cars I can’t separate from the cigarette stench of the owners I knew.

What about a personal luxury coupe with a vinyl roof? Crushed velour upholstery, opera windows...

    Anything from here, really:

Actually, that’s a really good find. Stage 2 camshaft is a nice bonus. Montucky, you should jump on this.

Oh hell yes! MT too!!! However, doesn't quite qualify for THIS thread since 240s were super reliable cars. Haha. Should def go in the wagon stole and 10+year old car buying threads.

Wish it was within a day's drive or I actually might be all over it.

Hahaha. Yup. Biggest problem for me is time and logistics on that one. Wish I could check it out for myself and drive that baby back home in victory!

So talked to guy selling BMW 760 this morning. Ends up it didn't sell after all. Told me about the coolant leak problem, which I was actually willing to tackle, however he told me it was a smokers car. I know I'm being picky here, but I just can't do that. That was the problem with a couple other "deals" I've looked at too.

You know me all too well. Solid contribution to this thread. That's not a manual shifter in the pictures tho?
