Two beaters completely over their heads, stopped halfway down a 2,000 vert intermediate trail at $teaux, asking a stranger:
"Excuse me? Inform the staff I need a ride down"

^^ Is that an old school leather water bag your husband is carrying there? (I assume that’s him, hard to tell from the photo)

On a green run - the only run to the parking area and lodge.
The gapers are the people who slalom through the crowds on the runout at mach speed. Don't be one of them.

You gotta do it with your lower body frozen in the Harley rider position. So faster! All the ladies are gonna be like: wow!

Skibro crashed with a bota full of red wine. There was a big RED spot on the snow where he landed. OMG he's dead. Gets up, he landed on the bag. We laughed.

Exactly - that was the quote from mach speed gaperboy after trying to use me as a gate and then blaming me for making a turn he didn't expect <wink>. He just about stacked it, so I skied up to him at the lodge and asked if he was ok. That was his response - lol.

So I wanted to take a pic so bad but I could not pull it off as I was laughing so hard…. I am sitting at the bar nursing a major hangover and a dude sits next to me…. I look down and notice his boots buckles are on the inside…. He looks at me and says “it’s my first day and I can’t believe how bad my feet are hurting”…. I try to say before I start dieing laughing and started crying and look at him and say “I think your boots are on backwards”…. He takes his boots off and switches them and says “Holy shit they feel so much better” and than buys me a beer…

I've only ever seen this once at the rental spot at the base of the Super Bee at Copper Mountain. Guy didn't even make it out of the rental shop before the poor kid outfitting families flagged him down. Gaper said something along the lines of, "I just thought they were supposed to be that hard to get on." That one had me laughing all season long.

Noticed that in a liftline once. “Sir, I believe your boots are on the wrong feet. The buckles should be on the outside.”

Imagine if an instructor let one of his students get halfway thru a lesson before picking up on this…

There was (still is?) a guy who parked at the main lot at Mt Hood Meadows with a giant flag - skull and cross bones, said “give up yer booty”. Always used him as a reference point

I believe it’s a smith optics branded bota bag and yes that’s him 🤣
He skis the bigfeet at least once a year (he got them for xmas when he was like 13 yo or something) there are usually copious backflips and antics lol

I once had a student show up with TWO LEFT boots on. Walked in the rental shop with them to get it straightened out. Never did figure out who was out on the hill in two right boots though..
