Looks like a sick course bunion!
Looks like a sick course bunion!
Came back last Saturday and recovering a cold from traveling fatigue.
(I took 3 COVID tests since Monday and all came out negative)
I’ll gather pics/vids and post a TR.
Hopefully soon.

And its even sunny! Niiiiiice.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
"Happiest years of my life were earning < $8.00 and hour, collecting unemployment every spring and fall, no car, no debt and no responsibilities. 1984-1990 Park City UT"
Yeah, we were very lucky with the weather.
Mostly cloudy to sunny (50-60F) with very minimal wind (5-10mph).
Carnoustie was the only windy and rainy day which we were happy to experience the Scottish weather.
Played in a charity outing Monday at Rockrimmon C.C.
The weather was excellent and they fed us well, both lunch and dinner.

^^^ Rockrimmon also has one of the best instructors in the MET section, Paul Kenney. He'll take non-members and stays around in the winter so you can take lessons indoors, when real and substantial changes can be made w/out the pressure of posting scores.
Played at Breck today in a scramble and man was it a glorious day to be out. Played really well too.

ROLL TIDE ROLL
Hadn’t played much earlier this year like I wanted too due to helping a couple of friends rebuild their decks and then sustaining a foot injury the end of June but the last few weeks I’ve been hitting it.
Played at the other ‘nicer’ municipal course in town.
First time since I started play golf last year.
Nearly as nice as the CC that I played at last
Friday in a charity event.

Finally got around and posted a TR.
Enjoy!

A little late with this post but last week was hectic and one of best sporting experiences of my life so far.
My parents and I, along with my 10 year old golf fanatic nephew, spent all last week at Whistling Straights. Such an insane scene and so much fun to watch the worlds best 24 players go at it.
We lucked out and had a few great spots to spectate from. My jaw is still floored from how incredibly good they are. Most people just don’t realize how much better these guys are than your local club champ. We sat on the range for three hours on Thursday and it was mind blowing to watch how consistently they can hit shots, especially long irons. I watched Scottie Scheffler hit twenty 5 or 6 irons and all of them landed within a 20’ circle. It was a blast to watch and listen to them strike the ball.
I have way too many photos and it’s going to take me quite a while to sort through them but here are a few of my favorites.

My boyfriend’s boss was there with his son and he said it was one of top ten sporting events he attended which says a lot.
Post more pictures! Let’s see them!!
Can’t wait for 2025 Bethpage Black!
I was able to get out and play the Prospector course as Suncadia Resort for the first time a few weeks ago. Not very often that I have a tee shot with a gallery!
This is super fucked up, but I am more sad about the imminent end of golf season than I am excited for the beginning of ski season.
My courses closed Sunday. Stinks. But I could drive to Denver area or west and extend my season quite a bit.
Playing County Club of Rochester tomorrow. It's basically Bushwood CC. Fancier than Oak Hill...old money
Tons of history and the oldest of our top courses...1895.
Course is nice but the clubhouse is ridiculous. The bar/lounge area is my favorite late night post golf spot...woodwork and cozy setup is just unreal
It was Walter Hagen's home course. Starting caddying there at age 7 and eventually became head pro.
If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

Sweet. Good weather too. Went to a biz lunch there once and one of the guys didn't have a suitcoat as required for the dining room. They had extras.
A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.
38-38 yesterday for a 76. +4 and my best round yet. Front was a wild ride with three birdies, three bogies, and a double. The back was really boring with just two bogies and no birdies.
Played with a retired NYPD cop and a retired smokejumper. We did not talk politics.![]()
Had some business in Anaconda today so I played a quick nine at Old Works.

That green looks good, how was the rest of the conditioning? I heard some folks complaining the other day, but it sounded like their major complaint was "hard brown fairways" and that is a good thing, imo.
