Yes, there’s been some bullshit misinformation about this. There’s no credible source that says pregnant women or women trying to get pregnant shouldn’t get the vaccine. The risks from Covid for pregnant women are huge.

This was exact story news ran with..likely not your friend. Baby delivered via c section early mom right to a vent.

I can understand the apprehension a pregnant woman might have with ANY vaccine, especially one not fully approved so no Ill will to your friend. Hope she gets better fast for that little one.

I agree, with a huge BUT. They basically tell pregnant women not to take meds of ANY type, unless absolutely necessary. All kinds of other weird shit too. Fish (mercury), caffeine, cold meds, the list goes on. Each woman has to make THEIR choice.

While I personally trust the vaccines they are still in emergency auth state. Not fully FDA approved.

ETA: if I was still considering children I would have to give a good amount of though to asking my wife to take a vaccine during pregnancy. If not vax I'm would basically take all other extreme covid type precautions.

Would be interesting to know the PHD discipline breakdown. English and history profs or people in the medical field?

There are a pair of PHD brothers (and wife) sowing a lot of doubt on YouTube using their educational credentials. I don’t understand the motives.
