to paraphrase, he said “It’s guys like you who are the reason that we are in this situation again. If the population against vaccines had IQ’s greater than a doorstop, we could honestly try and end this mess. You should be ashamed of yourself. I put two guys about your age in the ICU this week. Think about that”
    It was most excellent.
    And a little awkward.

I tried breaking the tension with a joke about how I recovered by doing a shot of bleach each night, and that he might try that. There was polite chuckling.
    Find a different trainer?

Are you paying this numb nut?

When someone says that they're not getting vaccinated because of >insert stupid reasons< why would you be anywhere near them?

He isn’t our trainer, just another one at the gym. Everyone else is vaccinated. He sticks out. I have had Covid and am double-dosed, I’m not particularly concerned. He is never usually there when we are for obvious reasons.

I'll bet $000 it did. Not everyone is an internet warrior/IRL pussy like you must be.

Also a Gen X'er I can laugh at a lot, but not some Millennial with kids on a vent because they couldn't get vaxxed because they're immunocompromised and were exposed to fucktards who couldn't be bothered to raise a finger becuz freedumbz.

I'm just getting on board and saying what everyone else is, albeit in a more crude fashion perhaps. Now you can calm your tits and get back to work.
As for your dumbass "both sides" argument, as well as your endless red vs. blue point-scoring - it's getting pretty fucking old. I could care less about some fatass dumbshit Texan politician rabid antivaxxer getting his just deserts.

It's having to deal with the fallout from selfish ratfucks with patients as mentioned above, who are a kind of collateral damage from the culture wars, as well as the headache of full ICUs and hospitals on divert statewide that fucking chafes me.

So no, I'm not gonna fucking calm my tits. I'm already working my ass off, as are people like Summit and MU and beaterdit and many others in the trenches.

So Chile is now starting to give AstraZeneca boosters to the 55+ crowd with 2 doses of Sinovac completed up to May 31. I am lined up for August 19.

This, on the heels of a local study comparing the results of Pfizer, Sinovac and AZ, in which Sinovac came out on the bottom in preventing symptomatic infection (but is still pretty good at preventing hospitalization). With 82% of adults (13 million) now fully vaccinated, they have a good database to work on. The charts below are In spanish, but it is fairly obvious what is what.

English news item on same https://www.reuters.com/business/hea...ld-2021-08-03/

Studies show that antibodies from the Sinovac vaccination have been falling quicker than the other 2, and thus the boosters. New cases (1,000/day) and positivity (1.8%) are at their lowest since last April 2020, but 59 Delta cases have been identified, and the government is still reluctant to open borders to tourists.

My 80+ aunt with lupus just got diagnosed with it. She’s double dosed with Phizer, 6 months ago. She’s doing ok so far but it’s early. Her husband has mesothelioma from 25 years in the navy and he was exposed significantly but negative so far. Both have pretty tough pre-existing conditions. Hoping the vaccine is enough even so. She is in northern Florida. Hope they make it.

I really do not understand the mindset of liberals... Leftists tell you to shit and you squat.

That you believe this flare up of covid is due to freedom loving Americans and not a million filthy illegal aliens streaming across our non existent border is another example of why liberalism is a mental disease

The democrat party cums and you swallow.

The first five words of your post offer the most clarity to your mindset
The fact you're making it about politics shows you might not be that smart.....

I guess the flare up in Florida is from all those dirty immigrants from the nonexistent border with Georgia and Alabama?
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

A quick glance at its posting history reveals what a shitbag really looks like.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

"Happiest years of my life were earning < $8.00 and hour, collecting unemployment every spring and fall, no car, no debt and no responsibilities. 1984-1990 Park City UT"

how does one go about "proving this"? Far as I know there are ZERO databases that hold info on whos (name etc) had the vaccine. Are we going to say a paper card with a vax lot # and brand is affirmation that you are vaxxed? Its already well known that they are selling those cards all over the place now...

Gotta say the ignore function has made this discussion much better for me. I highly recommend it.
