Right, I've heard that one with a Level IV PSIA instructor.

But to get back on track...can we slag on bass players now? (My brother played bass, and man, he fit that weird stereotype--personalities definitely dictate band roles, to some degree.)

So how we feeling about FLA today? I see Desantis is blaming Biden for his failure to meet his July 4th goal and letting all those filthy illegals cross the border.

Florida leads the nation in new Covid-19 adult and child hospital admissions

DeSantis turns his ire on Biden instead of Covid-19 as it rages in Florida

That tracks. Biden barely mentions COVID or promotes the vaccines and all those poor, sheepish Rs have been like 'Just let us know how to support this and we'll get our communities behind this 100% - just give us the word'. They absolutely haven't been undermining public confidence or downplaying this.

Yo, chill out mang. I know you're in the thick of it with your line of work, but I'm not entirely serious, but also not completely joking either. I'm just your typical apathetic Gen X'er who laughs at everyone from the sidelines. Aside from me though, have you not noticed the plethora of people here saying that the unvaccinated are getting what they deserve? How they'd be doing everyone a favor by getting taken out sooner than later? Been TONS of rhetoric like that around here, yet you're silent on them. I'm just getting on board and saying what everyone else is, albeit in a more crude fashion perhaps. Now you can calm your tits and get back to work.

The fat guy isn't dead. Covid is a hoax. He's lounging on some Caribbean island with a drink in one hand and his arm around a 16 year old, while his family collects the Gofundme and his life insurance and his casket is filled with sandbags. A lot of sandbags.

I’m assuming this will lead to some of the antivaxers that work in health care will leave field. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing, except there’s already staffing shortages.

Potential smiting. But most religious folks in the US are above a little fibbing to get what they want.

I thought the Supreme Court already ruled no religious exemptions in employment cases ?

Of course, that was when they were talking about hippies using peyote. Now that it’s Patriotic White People the court might change their tune.

We have freedom of religion, though. Seems like if I say the sole tenet of my religion is no vaccines, no one can really question it.

    What are religious exemptions?
This exemption allows parents to opt their child out of vaccines based on their religious beliefs.

Some states ask for evidence that the family belongs to a religious group that objects to vaccines. Only a few religions object to vaccines, including Christian Scientists and some faith healing groups. But in most states with this provision, you can simply sign a form stating that you have religious reasons to opt out.

Even the researcher who developed the basis for the vaccine has CLEARLY stated you can't vaccinate your way out of a pandemic.

Please make note of the dif between saying let unvaxxed idiots die and actually having to save unvaxxed idiots who are dying.

There are a few kids at my kids' school that are Greek Orthodox that get a religious exception...at least according to their folks. That may be more in the philosophical camp than religious though. There are definitely a good number of "philosophical" objectors to vaccination as well.

My friends in FLA say the opposite...not sure where you're located but probably not there, or you're blind to reality.
