Damn. I’ve done some foul hooking in my life, but don’t think I ever got one that far back

Mother in law visiting so of course I had to go fishing to get away. First hour couldn’t catch a thing. One tiny cutty. About ready to give up.
The last 20 minutes before it was too dark to wade caught 15+ Almost every cast. Enjoyed some time sitting on the tailgate taking off my waders. No hurry to get home.

got the old man out on the water captaining his own craft again last sat


He got a few fore the winds cranked up

sheldon and i threw the big junk skunk which happens and it stoked me out more to see the old man git em

sadly he ended up back in the hospital sunday
they opened him up and cut out a chunk of intestines yesterday so hopefully hes healed up and back on the water pursuiting piscatorial prey soon
im not super optmistic about gittin to road trip fishin summits with harry or luau attendence at this point though
one day at a time
did git the seafoam pooper slayer out and on the water fore 8 for a smokey hot funday float

To touch back on last year's thread, a block of 5 Taylor Flats lots came up for sale yesterday, 1.15 acres. Lumpy jumped on it for me, I'm now under contract with 25 days to do dilligence. We talked to the health department and they require 4 lots to allow a septic system install. We have calls into Daggett County to see exactly how much land we have to own to build. There are single lot owners adjacent to the five I'm buying so if we do indeed need 6 lots we've already sent letters to them inquiring if they want to sell their single lots.

The price was right and I figure if I need 6 lots someone will eventually sell or someone may come looking for me to buy mine. I'm pretty excited and hopefully it'll work out I can put my trailer there and leave it.

Send out a stamped postcard to all surrounding lots, you'll get more response. I had 7 lots at one time. Got my first on the steps of the court house in Manilla Utah for 75$. Good times.
