gorgeous afternoon at magic.
arrived at noon and parked waaaay out in the far lot.
great beach-on-mud vibe...and stellar snow everywhere.
no soup but made a rare apres dinner before crashing.
it came out great.

Sorry I wasn't there. After skiing 7 of the previous 8 days, my hip was killing me. First time I've ever had that malady. Getting old sucks. Saturday was pretty sweet also. Good on ya for hitting Slide.

ax stayed strapped to my pack. I mostly bring it so I look pro.

sweet edit, fun day was had rolling 5 deep. German Bratwurst saurkraut and pork belly for St. Pat's, Lederhosen today. Alpen horn and yodeling isn't far behind.

My bud Tim was up there somewhere. You met him at GOS and maybe the otto once also. Work got in my way...bummed to miss a perfect weather day in march.

I arrived at 9 and had to park basically at wildcat. Same on Saturday which I expected due to inferno. But Sunday was same in terms of parking. But weather and conditions were prime.
That said I would estimate there were maybe 20 people in GOS both days. Not crowded at all.
