Yeah I'm finding adz to be really good for threshold/ftp workouts- you're already probably riding at about that effort, might as well make it a 2x20 or something. Tour of fire and ice is good because it gives you 30min of warmup before you get to the bottom.

I was surprised that the top of Ven Top was flatter and easier than the bottom.
I think I was 1:35 at halfway (mileage) and my thought was “fawk this is going to be over 3hrs”
But I created the finish line at 2:22. There are some nice flattish reliefs on the switch backs.

I'm in for the ride tonight. I'm short on both training and sleep; looking forward to getting my butt kicked (because if I got my 8 hours in, of course I'd be leading that final climb ). It'll be good motivation to put in more trainer hours.

Kidding. Tech glitches blow. Hope rest of ride kicked DH’s butt

I will likely join up once I'm in not-shameful shape. I did 14 miles tonight. Ouch.

Are you currently being invited? If not follow Dee Hubbs on Zwift and I’ll add you to the Tues and Thurs invites.

Cool, I'm still on the free trial, but will definitely be keeping with it. Can't wait to get dropped

Yeah, tonight was a bummer. I'm connecting using Zwift Companion, and kept losing signal. When I did, I couldn't figure out how to reconnect without quitting and restarting Zwift. I threw in the towel after dropping the third time, and just did a regular Zwift ride - no issues for an hour once I quit trying to do the group event. ???

First ride was Dec 1st, scheduled every Tues and Thurs. So:
    25 rides so far.
Averaging over 6 riders per ride.
Greatest number of riders has been 11
Lowest number of riders was 2, and we still rode.
30 riders are currently being invited
    24 different riders have attended
6 riders have attended over 12+ rides, or over half the rides.

I've been in a funk and not riding, but hope to correct that and get back into riding with you guys.

Went to get ready yesterday, the TV wouldn't pick up my Apple TV signal. I went through all sort of rebooting, unplugging, even unplugging the TV. Figured that the TV was finally a goner and had started making plans to buy a new living room TV. Would have been fun to move the old 65" to the Zwift setup

But, I unplugged both Apple TV and TV overnight and restarted both in the morning - all back to working again....new TV has to wait.

+ 1 instance of 2 ghosts haunting the group

And last night Huckbucket decided to bend the last lap rules and put a hurting on the group well before the last climb. I for one enjoyed that part, saw justcuz did a zwift crit right beforehand so was probably not so pleased with that turn of events. Good ride as usual.

Doubtful for Thursday again as it's not ideal timing for wrapping up work/kids homework/dinner etc on east coast.

I was watching your numbers as I limped (high cadence, low power) my Ventoux legs home. I saw the number peaking well before the bridge, and figured the race was on!

Whoa there fella. Slow that roll. I was just following your wheel on the false flat when the gap opened although I admit to then using the opportunity to drive it. Everything else I deny.

A free ride up AdZ is good training for mountain biking around here. A lot of it feels familiar: the long unbroken climb, the grade, the resistance, the steady stream of passing riders.

OK, in for Thursday, though definitely can't stay long as the wife has late meetings.

You mean like private messages? Like "come spin my crank".
    What exactly do you mean?

Yes, exactly that. The last one was “come fuck me now”.
It popped up at the top of my iPad when I was doing something else, but I don’t see a message on the companion app? There was a Zwift logo in the text
