Some of us remember teamdirt posting some very serious stoke back in the day...hot tubs - maybe at the bottom of big drops but I remember more clean stomps, personally.

If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for problems caused by the government I'd be a rich fat film maker in a baseball hat.

Slalom turns on groomers with a pow ski? Sign me up! The one weakness with the 118 for me was the fact that it skied groomers like a freight train (turn radius close to infinity), so I'm pumped for this. I might actually buy brand new for the first time in...forever
On the negative side - am I the only one who thinks the base looks cooler than the topsheet?

I decided to go out on a limb and downsize my backlands/hawx to 26 to try and further reduce the forefoot volume. This is coming from a 27 backland carbon most recently, 28 alien RS before that (i measure a true 27.5). I had the 26 shells memory fit, and a big toe punch added on the hawx. On the first day in the backland, it still loosened a bit in the forefoot, so I decided to swap back in a protour liner with a supportive footbed. Feels like a good fit so far. I was using the same liner in the 27 backland, with the size reducer shim. Fit on the 26 w/o shim feels a lot like the 27 w/ shim. Overall, I'd say the downsize could be a good option for the low-volume crowd, but I still only have a few days on each boot.
How's the walk mode on the Quantum Free compared to the Asolo Factory and compared to the ZGTP?
Phil from SkiTalk.com Facebook streamed a video at a demo day today and was showing the new Dynastar MFree99. Looks just like a narrower MFree 108 with a blue base instead of yellow. Similar tip/tail taper, rocker and top sheet graphics as well. Intrigued!
