Basic math shows the back wall is approx 53". No power or lighting that I could see. Says capacity of 8. midgets? Table would sit a crowded 6. Didn't see the cooler they provide fro your food. Schlage wifi code locks on door. They said one party per cabin daily, can't wait to see the people who rent. Should be out of their serving area, so byob possible?

I thought the cabanas were a joke. A tgr joke.

That is some fucked up shit.

    Elitist.

And how to disinfect? Yeah you can fog it. But that shit is nasty.

But as you likely know, the bar at Magic turns a bigger profit than lift tickets. I'm as guilty as the next guy, hanging out there on marginal days for a 2-hour liquid lunch but when I go to other areas, I boot up at the car and ski...and have a beer while de-booting at the car.
Right, I was going to mention exactly that (that Magic is a bar w a ski area attached) but for various reasons decided not to. That said, if they did tents and all outdoors maybe they could still get away with it, but I guess they're not going that way and I have trouble picturing strict social distancing in the BLT (and Magic may do a better job than other places--I will say they seem to be talking a good game).
If there is zero apres available it honestly has no effect on me (probably hung out in the BLT once last year when someone forced me), but again, I recognize that I am not representative. It's going to piss me off if places have to close b/c of people coming up to 'ski' and then deciding they can't do so w/o risking infecting/getting infected.

Surface transmission of CV19 is essentially a myth. I think all the disinfecting stuff happening is theater to reassure people.

    True
It was nice to see cdc and who back away from the surface transmission

But biz protocol is still to disinfect everything a million times per day.

Every car I have still has a tape deck. Perhaps that’ll come in handy for the long drive up into the Jersey alps this winter. Best stock up on black berry brandy

Right, I almost believe the sanitizing companies are behind some of this. But last I checked (a few months ago) they had found exactly one case of possible surface transmission (and the epidemiologist who commented on it described it as far from 'slam-dunk' evidence).

"There will be no electricity in the cabins, but those who rent them will be loaned portable USB chargers to charge their phones and other electronic devices. People can either bring their own food and store it in a cooler in the cabin, or they can call for food to be delivered from Rumbles’ Kitchen.
At both mountains, the cabins are located slopeside and are ski-on and ski-off. People will reserve them through the resort’s online reservation system. Pricing is $400 midweek and $550 on weekends and holidays. Guests will have access to them from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m."

My place is available for $1000 day. Wifi, chargers galore, cable tv [watch the game!], kitchen [eat whatever you want, just put it on a list so I can replace it.] Bunch of beer and whiskey as well. If you fuck in my bed please throw the sheets in the laundry.
