So, did I miss it, or are we still waiting on information about the 2021 ON3P catalogue? Has COVID Craziness affected the release of that announcement?

In constant pursuit of the perfect slarve...
ON3p is probably going to time there 2020/2021 release with everyone getting their stimulus checks.

I think they would likely see a lot of pre-orders from people dreaming of better days... A 2x for $1200 sale on 2021 stock Pre-orders would probably take some of my money.
Moment is delaying their new catalogue until August 2020. So we'll see if On3p of a similar mindset. They tend to think differently, but I know they're in conversation.
PSA- Most of my 2020 ON3P demo fleet is on GearSwap. It's all models/sizes that are sold out on the website.
I tried to resist...
Listed my short (174) BG's on GS. Not sure how much interest people have in buying skis at this point in time.
Last night I purchased the last pair of Woodsman 96s in the 187 length on the internet. I was really debating between the Wrens and the Woodsman but ultimately I figured I would try out a slightly more playful ski this year. I'm stoked to try them.
Nice! The WD 96 may have been the most raved about ski at ON3P demo events this season, I think you'll be stoked.
Looking forward to seeing the 2021 lineup...
Guessing there is some math around getting rid of the remaining 2020's before the new stuff gets paraded - everyone go snatch up what's left! You'll wish you had once fall rolls around (speaking from experience)
anybody have the chance to compare the woodsman to the billy goat side by side on the snow yet?
if you go back 20-30 pages then there's a fair bit of discussion on that very topic, including feedback from Iggy - the head honcho over at ON3P. Just go into his profile and see through his last posts to get to the relevant pages.
To answer the question a bit - they ski completely differently though, one being a powder/loose snow specific variable crusher driven from the center (BG), while Wood116s are a wider all mountain ski that has noticebly more tail, but can be driven quite hard through the shovels and are better on hard snow / groomers. Both are awesome, just different.
Also - killer skis Eric!
Aanev - how did you get along with your wood116s? Should we read anything into your purchase of said wren108ti wündershredders?![]()
Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try the Woodsman. Covid-19 lockdown kicked in a little earlier here and the mountains are _still_ offlimits. The only thing I did were carpet comparisons (pictures attached - all the skis are center-lined).
Buying Wren108ti wündershredders (I LOVE this word) happened because I tend to nerd about skis and the very thought that these might be better than the regular Wren108 kept bugging me.
I'm not the strongest skier, but figured I'd share some billy goat vids for a lil lockdown stoke.
My fav thing about the BG's for sure is the tip shape. They really don't grab. I really notice that benefit compared to other skis when I'm skiing in warm bumped up pow. It's much easier for me to make a quick turn or speed check in grabby snow that would otherwise be quite a bit more difficult (for me) to pull off without getting hung up on other skis.
Another big thing for me is the mount point. It's a little further back compared to some of the other "modern" pow skis I've been on (like the Moment Bibby), and that allows me to drive the the tips quite a bit more without risk of tip dive. It's basically impossible to submarine on these things. A lot of skis with more progressive mount points (which I think of as minus 6 and further forward) seem to require a very centered stance, which isn't always so easy for me to maintain when trying to ski fast in typically choppy resort powder conditions.
My least favorite thing about the BG is the weight. Physically, I'm not very strong (lanky chicken legs), so I do get tired more quickly on these, which makes it hard for me to stay quick and light on my feet. When I'm fatigued and basically forced into bull-dozing mode, my skiing gets sloppy quick. Ultimately, that's just a personal issue, and there's an easy* solution for that. Get in shape and ski better!

(forgive all the jabbering in the videos. I can't shut up when I'm skiing!)
For reference, I'm 6'4" 175lbs and ski the 189 BG

thx for sharing man! fun conditions in that first one for sure.
not sure if you're a 'detune' guy or not but for me on BG's and Supergoats tip/tail detune made the turns virtually effortless. Maybe worth a look.
out of curiosity, what camera did you use?
north bound horse.
Good stuff! I miss january
