Seriously, WTF is wrong with you? Do you even ski? Skiers have masks.

The thinnest of fabric masks will change the humidity in your nose and throat and help keep your defenses up, especially in cold, dry air. They stop a huge fraction of particles, especially the largest/most dangerous ones, from flying out into the air around you. Effectiveness is a spectrum and this is dynamic, so do what you can and improve as you go.

Was waiting to respond in case someone brought up ski masks . . . until surgical masks become available either through industry or homemade, we've been doubling up and scrunching our ski buffs - think it's better than nothing!

Great idea. If we lock down New York, we will contain 30% of this city virus and the rest of America can get back to normal. That would be a real punch in the gut of this virus that is everywhere. Bifurcated society. My sister, who has some disabilities, and her husband, a few days ago were exhibiting low level symptoms. She wanted to get tested for Covid19 but was told "No. Unless you need hospitalization" (or something like that). Then last night I hear this 'breaking sports report'.

IFN-Alpha 2b's aren't a new discovery. They've been around for a long time and people have been trying to use them for a lot of different types of viral infections.
