so here's an idea, it's kind of scary.
maybe they do it now, maybe not, can't they use the phone travel histories of people that test positive to see the proximity they have to other phones and then automatically warn the other phowners they have been close to a known positive (or worse/better alert authorities)? seems like one of the better uses of AI?

Wow. I have a huge box of masks I use for working around the farm. This could be lucrative. Forget about planting corn this year.

New conspiracy theory I'm working on says Chinese govt released this intentionally to 1) hide impact of tariffs on their economy and 2) force foreign govt to work with them on trade/relaxing tariffs

^^Stick with the bucket. You idiots understand that at some point you have to take the mask off and if this virus lives on a surface for 7 days, and assuming the mask traps it, and you touch the mask...oh nvrmnd.

Looks like people may be contracting it from things that were imported from China. Either that, or there are undiagnosed people here in larger numbers than we realize.

There are cases in California and Germany where they can't track down a connection to any known sources.

Only works if you're on 5G though.

So the cancer will probably get you anyway.

You really taking a position that N95 masks aren't effective PPE? Yes, they have to be used correctly and for that matter may not even be appropriate for this infection, but .... maybe they would be useful.

For the record, what I've told my wife and daughters is that they aren't in immediate danger but should take all normal precautions (hand washing, no face touching, etc) in addition to making sure they get sleep and stay generally healthy. Same advice all the time really.

Heard a grocery store manager (an actual Karen in the wild!) ordering cases of masks. Ok.
This thing gives most people a bad cough, no?

I was having breakfast with my health care provider this morning and she mentioned how the way everyone is using the masks does absolutely nothing to protect them

Keep the mask on when removing do so in a sterile environment using rubber gloves lifting upward dispose of immediately at no time should you adjust or touch the mask w bare hands

I'm in the hospital once a week they have masks all over so I help myself stashing them in my pants usually leave with ten masks and sell them for twenty each

Holy fucking cloyingly patriarchal statement, Batman. Do they need to ask your permission to leave the house without a chaperone too?

It's called parental advice. Kids sometimes need adults for that sort of thing ya know. They also look to me as having an informed opinion.
