Neat house, but it’s a two bedroom and Illinois has an incredibly high tax burden.
Everyone that can afford it has already left the state, or will shortly after Jay’s tax plan takes effect.

Waaaaay out of my price range, but if you go a bit north (MKE) or a bit south (Chicago), it does seem like a relative bargain...location, location, location!

the sconnie house is gorgeous- the stone work, paneling, the windows..... and 10k sq feet is just a joke at $2m - wow
not my 100% style but I would live there happily

It was the weirdest thing, I posted about it somewhere, but some people called us last summer that had seen it while the place was listed, they had to make an effort and do some research to find our cell numbers, no idea how they got them actually. They said they were gonna make an offer by the end of that week, and then they fell off the earth. Never heard from them again. so odd.
