My favorite case of proper placement I saw in Florida in 88: Slow Children; Slow School Zone; Slow Men Working. They dun went to school and growed up to be slow men...

Parents insist on eating dinner early every night. Get reservations at the late hour of 6pm last night for pre-New Years dinner. Place is already packed, and waiting for our table it's a parade of vehicles into the parking lot carrying grey haired passengers. Seems like every old fart in town was there for early dinner.

When you eat twice a day, dinner at 4pm does not come soon enough some days.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Got the laugh of a lifetime in today at a fuel stop. Her a loud pop, clunk clunk. Lady in her crossover (of course it would be) drove off with the pump handle still in her car. She stopped, got out, looked embarrassingly and with utter confusion at the handle and hose dangling from her car. Laid it neatly by the pump and squeeled out of there as quick as she could. A couple old truckers and I were there just laughing our asses off.

some of us prefer to eat before you young whippersnappers who can't hold your liquor start showing up and start screaming. Use your inside voices.
(Personally I never eat before 7 if I can help it; if I do it's usually because my son wants to. He hates having to wait.)

I've done that once in 53 years of driving. It was a couple of years ago and the hose was designed to break away. The attendant reattached it. No harm done. I've driven off without my gas cap, or without it on, maybe 3 or 4 times.

    Things That Amuse You

Along those lines, the Gov of Montana went to CMC which was very conservative back in the 80s when he was there. Even though it was a short lived campaign, it amuses me greatly that the first CMC grad to run for pres did so as a dem.

Was randomly going through instagram and started reading the comments on a "Ski the East" post about Smuggs when I come across a commenter named "just1rog" shitting on them for #lowanglehardwoods and their appropriation of surfing slang.

I don't care who you are, that right there's funny. And Smuggs is my closest hill, after the rope tow pimple up the street from my house.

My laptop comes with scenic screensavers that change every day or two. The picture of Mt Moran is labelled Yellowstone NP.
