Galibier Designcrafting technology in service of music
Fear, Doubt, Disbelief, you have to let it all go. Free your mind!
A keep the asymmetrical nature of the Q have it with no camber?
That would be interesting.

I am in for a kusala in a tour layup. When I saw the experimental ski page, I thought about a fully rockered tour layup ski. Subtle rocker line. Taper point somewhere between the renegade and protest and a long ass radius

Im in for the kusala if its 191.

A number of peeps have been down with a kusala reboot. I say we make it happen.

I rip the groomed on tele gear
My proposal for a 1st TGR Praxis Experimental Flat/Reverse Camber, Standard Sidecut Ski:
Call it ‘The TGR Special’ perhaps?
190cm length
Mount point: -7
142mm tip
124mm waist
129mm Tail
30m Turn radius
Flat underfoot
Gradual rocker to 9.5 height at tip, 3.5cm at tail
Front Rocker Height: 2.6cm
Tail Rocker Height: 1.5cm
Front rocker length: 47cm
Rear Rocker length: 40cm
Stiff 4.5 Flex underfoot, progresses to 4 at tails, 3.5 at tips
Enduro Layup + Veneer
Or
Enduro Layup + Carbon
Would love to see Enduro/Carbon/Veneer but starts to get expensive. I love how my Enduro/Veneer Skis handle. I can see this design benefiting from the pop of carbon though.

A praxis built EHP would be rad.

Thanks , sideways is ok. 124 uf would be good and i think theyre pintailish , without knowing the tip and tail. From the pic it looks like the tail has a long rocker, longer than thd tip. I guess i was hoping itd be like a bit wider bg(pintailish with wider splay and rocker). 181-183 probably wouldnt be in the cards anyway. Still be fun to watch you guys bring them to fruition

It’s closer to a renegade but has more straight section in middle which creates larger sweet spot

I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
8, 17, 13, 18, 16, 18, 20, 19, 16, 24, 32, 35
2021/2022 (13/15)
Ahh i see. Good idea. I was guessing itd be a wider lhasa

A 190 length EHP in the 186 shape would be interesting
Sounds like we just need to buy six of one, half a dozen of the other

I don't have a complete list of specs, but for the 186 Kusala,
straight pull: 185cm
sidecut: 133.2-124-129.4 [mm]
radius: 30m
curb weight: 2150g
Can get more info, take more photos, etc. Let me know.
If we're gonna do a knockoff, we should get splat's blessing first, or ask him to run the show.
I’d personally like to see a fatter tip, longer, maybe semi pintailish type ski with flat camber/gradual rocker + long turn radius. Not too much of a point (to me) if dimensions are too similar to current protest and wootest. Though I’m sure whatever it’d be or a Kusala collab would be dope
I'd be in for this. my big pintails are almost ten years old and it's a shape i never want to be without. 150-117-123 , 45cm nose rocker with 7cm rise, shark nose. Trad camber throughout the rest with a true flat tail. When my current ones give up the ghost I'm going to need this in my life again immediately and no one is making anything like it anymore.
Sounds like the Lhasa pow fat (;
I’d definitely want the flat camber almost full rocker profile though. What makes a ski like this nimble
