    Looking good!

I'm gonna have to hit you up for some Forest road recs. Need to get out and explore some of those/camp in spots like that!

    80 series land cruiser futures

I was thinking we should do a maggot land cruiser meet up this summer. Maybe in north central Idaho or Eastern Wa. Do a weekend deal, drive a few shitty roads and camp in the mountains.

100% in. You'll get to check out the turbo when it shows up [emoji869]

Was also thinking of trying to do chunks of the PCT but logging roads. Can't remember what they call the trail in wa but it runs N-S through the Cascades mostly on dirt.

I preordered the wits end turbo kit.
@ 7psi of boost the dyno numbers are pretty insane.
    stock 120awhp/170 ft lb
    supercharger: 155awhp / 238 ft lb
    Turbo: 214hp/277 ft lb

    Thinking of this route:

Washington sometime this summer then the Oregon to Tahoe section likely late August.

    Very good.

So when you stud the head, run a steel gasket and 20psi of boost what do you think you'll be putting down?

Would love to watch a boosted cruiser smoke a sports car in a drag race.

Ha. I went oem head bolts and gasket when I just did my rebuild but don't think they'll have any issue with only 7psi.
There's a mud member who has built his out and at like 14psi was putting out over 700hp I think? But he's forged rods/pistons/ported head, etc.
The 1fz can be a monster.

Depending on when and where, I'd hop in the 80 and drive somewhere. If we wanted to do lockers, lift, and 35 minimum, I've got some ideas in ID. If you want to include stockers, I know some places too. They would be in central ID. North and west of there, I'm not much help.

My intent would be stock friendly (maybe you want M/T or aggressive A/T vs. Highway tires) but rugged. Drive up to an alpine zone and camp.

Conundrum - what are your thoughts on something around central Idaho?

Is there anything we can get up to a lake or a cool ridgeline and then over a pass or something in to another valley in Central Idaho? Let's say stock rig passable but maybe a bit adventurous. So not just FS road travel but maybe secondary FS roads that are a little on the rough side or what not. Objective would be some camping, exploration, maybe a bit of fly fishing?

Mcgruder Corridor is something I've read about, is that interesting or just a dusty drive through the woods?

If you have a good spot that you don't want to post publicly, let's discuss via email or PM. Was thinking mid - late July as a date range.

Sounds ideal to me. Maybe plan on one of the 3 day weekends so it could easily extend to a 4day trip.

I was thinking July. May is gonna be snowy still (most likely) and August/Labor day is generally dusty and busy.

Mcgruder is cool for the remoteness but would probably be 4-6 days depending on where people are traveling from. There’s a couple spur roads that are a little more burley but it’s mostly gravel. I’ve got some other ideas too. For everyone interested, PM me an email address and I can get some conversation starters out there.

There’s one spot Rev and I have been talking about too that isn’t really known well that would be sweet and a stock 80 with AT tires could go.

    I made a thread.

Let's get our LC out there. All series welcome. (but maybe not Mseries jongs?)
