cdot can't even fill a pot hole
why would you expect them to be able to monitor and communicate with the police to help alleviate problems like this
they spend millions and millions on cameras and all kinds of monitoring but don't know what to do with that info

Did anyone NOT see this pending shitstorm of a Saturday coming in like a hot pile of poo crapping out of a butt on to a spinning fan?

Had enough good ski days this year to not even consider getting into peak shit show. And it's Frozen Dead Guy time in Nederland Took my four year old to Hidden Valley. Towed him up a bit on a short rope to ski the low angle stuff then went sledding until he complained about the howling wind. He was stoked on his first "Backcountry" skiing experience that didn't include riding in a backpack.

An hour from Dino to Loveland at about 5:15. Skinned some freshies. Then skied some more.

Biggest slide I've ever seen on Super Bowl. It went to the ground, probably R4 or R5. Debris field filled in the usual cat track to Bennetts (it was not open.)

An hour home at 1:30pm. Traffic totally chill.

Yeah traffic was actually great today. 1 hour 45 to copper at 5:30 and then no traffic at all the way back.

I heard some people on the lift talking that they left at 6 from Denver. With the Abasin cluster and an accident in Dillon it took them over 4 hours to get to Keystone.
I’d be going to get a Bloody Mary somewhere and waiting it out.

Eldora wasn't very crowded, left at ~1:30. Took maybe 10-15 extra minutes to get through Ned, but otherwise no effect.

Good snow in the trees and on the side of runs, wind effected or scoured in the middle.

This. Crazy looking at that slide all day. 1st cat ride today was fun. Classic “Loveland, you wouldn’t like it” Day.

Drove up last night about 9pm. Was certain there was a mini slide between Georgetown and the tunnel because I (and a few others) got fully engulfed in a giant snow cloud that came off the side of the mountain. Scared the piss out of me. Saw exactly where the slide was on my way back today. Scary shit. That's what I get for trying to avoid traffic by going up late..

Bard rips to the ground and buries 70 right before the big traffic rush. Chaos at its finest.

Friend in Keystone said they left at 6a for Abasin, arrived 930,and described the day as "top 50 maybe top 75".

I was thankful my 5 minute commute to ski

Just drove back from CB to Denver in 4 hours. Why so long?

Unbelievable week there. Such a joy when that place gets big snow.

Yep, made it all the way to Kenosha just in time to catch the closure. Waited there for a while before finally getting the word that it would be closed for a while. It's a long detour and backtrack from there...
