Does the andermatt skiarena pass cover Disintis?

Is rescue or travel insurance a smart idea?

You can buy Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis tickets, yes, but they're also offered without the D (or just the D)

Disentis and Airolo (2 hours by train) have the best tree skiing in the area in case of storm, so include Disentis on your ticket.

Also, vendul is still offering a day around St. Moritz, so fold that into ticket purchase plans.

For those interested, there’s an app called White Risk - it’s got the SLF avy info, as well as the snowpack info. Super easy to use as an alternative to the SLF website.

Welp I bought the wrong liftpass then... hopefully they can do an exchange or upgrade. Especially with the tram in Sedrun now I was planning on skiing at Disentis quite a bit. Sent them an email, fingers crossed.

Hi, I'm talking here with a guy from the ski arena and he said that there shouldn't be any problem upgrading.

Be sure to show him the view count for this thread. It's all about the view count, right?

Keep an eye on this one:

    this too:
    https://www.netweather.tv/charts-and...6.72,57.59,712

I just checked: getting from Rueras to Airolo, including all transfers through Andermatt. Goeschenen and the bus from the Airolo train station to the Pescium ski area takes 2 hours; a train leave Rueras at 7:30 and the bus drops off at the ski area at 9:30. So even if it storms we can ski Disentis trees and Airolo trees where Airolo is spicy.

Thanks for input. Was away from thread. I'm looking for rental, refill, or buy. In that order. Have a canister but was thinking rental sounded the most hassle free. Sent Imholzsports a message inquiring.

Same question. It looks like the Disentis + Andermatt ticket would have been another 50 francs but Disentis on its own is 50 francs a day?

Now I really feel like I'm missing out. No advice particular to the area ya'll are going but, the lift pass deal in the Alps is always affordable but sometimes difficult to figure out. Sometimes the multiple lift system multiple day option is the way to go. Sometimes the al a carte get a ticket the day of (or night before) is the way. Are you guys really seeing a benefit to purchase ahead of time? Also, frequently lodges and hotels sell the passes for cheaper that the ticket window.

Buying in advance seems to only make sense for the flex-rate spots like Andermatt. Early enough and certain days are like 10chf. More expensive closer in.

Yeah, I think I saved 50 - 60% over window price. Was 350 francs for 10 day lift pass. Buying daily would be almost 1000 francs. So even if we go somewhere else one day or two I still saved a lot.

181 Chf for 5 days of that lift system beats any deal stateside.

I hope people are ok with the thought of ditching a day or two at the skiarena to go explore

Totally but I figured as a baseline having daily lift access was smart.
