Of the 4 places I've lived around the Puget Sound, garbage pickup was always Monday. Wallingford, Ballard, Carnation, Union Hill, all on Monday.
And who was it that said that if someone invents a dildo that mows the lawn and takes out the trash, menkind is even more fucked (not that most of us don't deserve it).

Yes, yes, no. (We don't actually have a lawn but my wife does most of the pine needle raking and all of the gardening--we have a really nice rock garden, no thanks to me. (I did move some of the rocks but she moved most of them. Moving rocks around is one of her hobbies. When she travels she sometimes brings some home in her suitcase. It's annoying when she doesn't tell me and I try to pick up the suitcase. My wife believes in hard work for its own sake; I believe in doing the least amount of work to do what needs to be done.)

Annoying because a) partially blocks access to my drive, b) squirrels, fox, raccoon, skunk, and birds go apeshit for it.
Every place I've lived trash pickup happens on schedule regardless of holidays.

You get Christmas day trash pick up? weird. Glad our peeps get a day off. Way to crack the whip doc.

In any case, if you lived here for 5 years, I hope you'd get the picture things are different and not going to change without notice eh?

Ha, good point. A few years ago during some government shutdown I rode a wilderness trail on bike, at night. Was fun. Maybe I'll bring my bike to the wave!

^IDK, I’m kinda all about it. Find your fit (the hard part) take a photo of what size and fit you like and you oughta be able to buy jeans online with that info for a few years. Love stretch pants, even wearing stretch slacks these days, no plans to go back. My waistline is tidal.

Yeah. That's been pissing me off too. It is REALLY hard to find properly fitting jeans these days. I'm starting to think it's best to just go the Carhartt or Wranglers route. So many of the brands we've relied on for years have apparently gone all in on the soy orange mocha frappuccino sipping hipster crowd or something. Ironically, after ages of searching, the brand that now seems to have the best fit, and actually just seem like Levis of old? Calvin freaking Klein. They're cheap and fit great. I can even wear my work boots with them. What is going on here?!

Oh don't get me started on Wrangler! Forkers have totally changed my favorite work jean. Now it's "curvy." Well guess what? Some of us aren't built like Kim Kardashian and we don't like our jeans with saddle bags. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

And Carhartt thinks everyone wants to wear low rise jeans. Maybe that's okay for wearing around town but when I bend over to buck hay I don't want my low back exposed and hay going down it.

x1000 on the jeans. Problem is, even when I find a pair that fits, every pair of that exact jean seems to fit differently. I try on the exact same pair of jeans in the same size when at the store and each pair fits a little differently. Why is it so hard to make a pair of jeans the same every time? My routine is to go to Macy's. Grab about 15 pairs of jeans and go into the dressing room. Sometimes I find a pair, sometimes I leave empty handed.
