My 993 went through a set of tires about every 5k. I drove it hard though. Burned oil and when it rained I’d have water in the foot well behind the drivers seat. Sort of a bummer experience.

My last car was a CPO Q7 with 20K on it, and the extended warranty. The last year with the 8 cylinder engine. It was a fun car, but went in for a lot of things, all of which were covered by CPO, it just took forever to get parts and I had a lot of Q 5 loaners. I had an Audi exec tell me that dealerships actually do pretty well for CPO work, so it helps their attitude towards it. I traded it right after it went off CPO.

I don’t know if the turbos are better, but the 8s had bad carbon build up with US gas (10% ethanol), and Audi was shafting people by not covering decarbonization, which was expensive. My dealer did me a solid on it, fortunately, and, after that, I pumped it full of BG44k on a regular basis without problem. I believe that Audi actually developed their own fuel additive like BG.

My one gripe is that the battery was located under the drivers seat, which actually had to be removed to replace the battery, at about $500 for the battery and labor.

Dealer provided AutoCheck report was clean, but would like to compare against Carfax for this 3VWL17AJXEM440268 if possible. Thanks!

I'm no rocket doctor, but I don't believe carbon issues would come from the ethanol content of our fuel, but instead the direct-injection system system that doesn't spray fuel onto the tops of the intake valves that would otherwise clean PCV contaminants.

Some companies like toyota have a mixed direct injection system (port injection + direct) that helps with this. It is common for there to be these issues with DI engines such that most manufacturers include cleaning (media blasting!) the intake valves in their service intervals.

This can all be avoided/extended by

1.) Not buying a DI vehicle, or understanding the added MX involved
2.) Developing a system that filters PCV contaminants (air/oil separator) so that your valves don't get gunked. Some aftermarket manufacturers offer units for some vehicles, but the idea is all the same.

I am not confident that fuel additive would fix this issue, as it is the PCV gunk that clogs up the intake tract.

Isn’t that paint style most often found on a mid 2000s Eclipse or Mustang etc?

    Yes.

I might end up with these soon. I think he spent 7 for them. Maybe he will take 1.8 trade value. Make a quick 3m.

This one of your clients Bobby???

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The new pastor of a South Carolina megachurch gave his wife a $200,000 Lamborghini SUV for their eighth anniversary five days ago, and he's been getting heat on social media for it ever since.

In an Instagram video taken at the celebration Saturday, John Gray, pastor of Relentless Church here, led his wife to a bow-wrapped car and handed her the keys while saying "Lamborghini Urus." He later acknowledged on social media that he had bought the luxury vehicle for her and responded to criticism of the purchase.

The video of the presentation, which he had not posted, was taken down.

"God helped me to make my wife's dream come true," he wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday night. "Why not? She's made mine come true!"

By Thursday, he was on Facebook Live, tearing up at times as he defended his decision and said the sport utility vehicle was bought with "not a nickel, not a penny" of his salary from the church or other church money.

Lol. I sold a Maserati Gran Turismo to a pastor from Memphis once.

The Lort wanted him to have it.
