90k for that bus. Holy shit.

The problem with auctions is you pay the most anyone would then a 10% fee then you have to ship the car.

All while trying to not get screwed over by the auctions shill bidders.

^ that green and white in my last set there, brought $115K before the $11.5k buyer fee??!!! I sat in it preauction, so there's that, ive sat in $100k vintage bus...lol

If you study the sold catalog , there are a lot of vehicles that brought really huge money but were not sold due to reserve. I kinda think some of those are examples of some shill bidding...

the terrydyne sold, I think it was $180K before fee

180k is pretty good. Im listing mine for 250k.

Yep. Sell price is subject to 10%. Then you've got another 2k in enclosed shipping. About 130k all in for that bus.

Mecum is shady as fuck. They all are.

i dont think but a few even had the miles posted on the window, none posted on the big screen tv's around the auction block, i thought that was weird, seemed like very few people were checking out cars like really close, i saw only one guy look at floorpans with a flashlight....i pointed out paintwork on a 360 spider, and an F430, but one guy eyeballing pretty heavy said he didnt care, was still going to buy it, i saw him later asked if he bought it , he said it went to high for him, so yeah maybe some sketch, looked like a good place to sell maybe

Every car that we've had come from Mecum has been a pig with lipstick.

Lots of projects that aren't quite done or had to be sold quickly. Lots of hard to move inventory.

Bobbys used car lot. Anything goes.

    Who needs a Wraith?
Is that from the same distance as some of your other pictures? That looks long. I should pay attention at the dealership to see if there's one there

Guy was a POS and pretty much broke except for that house. He was an easy sell though. As most new money folks are.

Not how I would spend 5M. He was the Affliction t shirt type.

When he was in the money, he leased all sorts of stuff from me. Bentleys, Rolls, Astons (usually 12 month leases) and then finally a Maserati.

Sold a company for 25-30M. Half went to his wife in his first divorce and he spent the rest.

Apparently his 2nd wife told him yesterday she wanted a divorce and he stabbed her to death. Stabbed her dad too but he was able to shoot and kill him. The Dad is in stable condition now.

I am curious -- do you think the wife-stabber's value to society was properly measured by the 25-30M he made selling his company?

He sold some part that went on every airplane.... So... Do you fly?

Is that how you wanted that post to work out? Or was that a gotcha statement?

That question would best be posed to the person who paid 25-30MM.

How did you get to China? Boat?

Chances are he would still be alive had he not got the 25-30M.
