Nice, thanks for the tip. You try the Pueblo chiles yet? They weren’t as hot at Hatch at least the bundle I got, but nice flavor.

I ended up on a last minute San Juan river trip this weekend. Hopefully another storm coming in tonight means no work for me tomorrow. It's go time!

CB only gets snow with a W flow. Last year, everything was coming in that way so we got hammered. Monarch seems to be able to squeeze out some snow from multiple directions.

In other news, nice little storm so far... fingers crossed even though it's a southern storm.

Left the Justice Center at 7:45. Verdict: too late. Hit bumper to bumper traffic right outside the Ned traffic circle, pulled into the North lot at 9-9:15. Pace of traffic up the shelf road is basically the pace that Eldora can put cars in parking spots. This was the first time I tried to get up there in the morning with small kids. Definitely going back to a 1pm arrival from here.

Did you see all the slides patrol was able to generate? Easy street, Horseshoe/Cucumber bowl, most of Peak 7 bowl. I'm sure they were being extra cautious with all results they were getting. First few runs down Whale's Tail were pretty good though.

Yeah that was crazy how most everything in horseshoe bowl / Lulus slid. I guess the wind overnight did a number on some of the slopes.

I don’t think anything in cucumber bowl proper actually slid but yeah lots of activity

Yah, for sure, good seeing you guys. It was nice up there no doubt. Still owe you and your bud a beer; make it two for cutting you off in the trees. I saw three cars in the ditch on the way down, kinda sketch.

lost you a long time ago. Left you at little hawk. Hope it didn't slide. But, all fun aside, it does suck, don't go there.

When did people start saying "low tide" to mean boney/shallow snow conditions? Whoever started saying it doesn't understand how tides work on earth, because if they did, they wouldn't compare snow conditions to tidal patterns. If anyone knows who started it, can you please let me know.
    warm regards,
    irlts
