MBs through the '70s are great looking cars and it's reflecting in their prices.

    classy ride to the slopes.

amazing thing about porsche is their ability to milk serious $ from the same cars. they'll sell you a Cayenne for $60k or a Turbo Cayenne for $210k - a $160k SUV $50k in options.

I'd take an old 904 any day

I have been diggin on the old XJS coupes lately. Good looking cars. I am lucky my driveway is full, or I would probably end up buying one... This one looks nice...

Is that what they’re calling the non-Turbo-turbos?

they are cool in their own way, but what gas drinking pigs for comparatively low performance. sort of an english Cadillac Eldorado - cool in it's own excess.

^^ But such a great road trip machine. Well, until it breaks down anyway... I think that the V12 was an incredible motor and was so smooth but the best way to deal with one of these cars today is an LS (or similar) swap.

Never been a vette guy but its hard to argue with them. The GS falls into that "whats the best car under 100k" territory.

Every sentence is strained. And I'm not sure if he could change a tire. Or drive. Jethro B is the opposite: a mellow guy that can drift THE yellowbird with precision.

The Vette C6 Gran Sport is a sweet car from the outside looking in. A top car under 40k.

I'm not sure what the partnership relationship was between Bizzarini and Chrysler, but back in the sixties, when our family lived in Geneva Switzerland, my dad was given the option to purchase a Bizzarini of a model I can't remember. I just know it had a Chrysler powerplant. That was back in the day when such cars were actually somewhat affordable. The deal was never finalized, unfortunately. Had it been, I might be at the wheel of one today!

Had that RX7 same color, no rear spoiler and leather. That thing could be pretty squirrelly when driving in the rain and the second turbo hit. Almost crashed it a few times.

I agree with Porsche, you don't buy it to drive to church on sundays. I can break loose the tires on my sportscar pretty easily, but if I do that on a slick spot and wreck; it's on me.

Hey, if the dead horse is still spitting out money keep beating it I guess.

Don’t expect me to give a shit tho, and this is about personal opinions about minutia that means absolutely nothing to anyone. Fkn fight me, lol. Porsche’s are great cars, I just have to roll my eyes when their next “new” car looks exactly like the other 6 models they offer... for the past 15 years. Seriously, only car nerds who jerk each other off with driving gloves know what the fuck they even are anymore. There is 0 creativity in that, and it very well may extend into the negative creativity integers. Sorry for stating the obvious, feel free to contact your Mom to lodge a complaint.

So, is it a mini-Carerra GT?

After reading up, and looking at the pics, I've decided I'm not a fan.

They elongated the tail too much, It looks like a flat deck, completely unrelated to the rest of a gorgeous car. Shit, even the taillight cluster and rear bumper look great, it's the 4 feet of space between that and the rear windscreen that ruin it for this Pcar fanboy.
