Wow. Just wow. That engine in one of those cars...

Little different tilt, but check this out.
Check out that bracing around the driveshaft. Crazy.

I drove alongside one of these the other day. Top down...sunny day...same color and about same year, and was momentarily struck by the elemental beauty of the ride coasting along beside me.
That was a LONG moment.
Sometimes beauty and grace supercede speed.
For some crazy reason, I'd never liked this particular vintage of vette. I think in my case, my viewpoint was blinded by the fact that one of my first bosses, whom I did not entirely like, had a similar vette.
Thankfully, people change.![]()
I geuss what captivated me most about that car was the fluid design of the rear quarter. Very european. A nice behind on a lady is always to be admired
Class from every angle. While previously I had always held the 1963 thru 1967 as being my favorite Corvettes, I must say that that (IMHO) I now rate the 1957 Corvette as the most beautiful of all vettes.
$14M

9/10, would bang for the tires alone.
Full blown car boner watching the Monterey Mecum auction this weekend. Lots of $1 mil plus cars and also some that got seemingly low bids - '95 911 Cab for under $60k, '99 Ferrari 550 for 110k, '00 Ferrari 360 for $60k.
Favorite was the Koenigsegg CCX that fetched nearly $3 mil. Didn't think those made it to the US. 1/2 built.

What star would be the best match for this Aventador stretch limo? Lady Gaga? Kei$ha? Justin Bieber? I'm going to go out on a limb and say Bieber

^^ Me. I'm so important and have such a deep seated need to prove it that I just plain old deserve it. Hook me up!
Aventadors are a pain in the ass to get in and out of.

They're a surprisingly large car. I can imagine that gap between the outside and the edge of the seat is pretty wide too.
Filed under: problems I'll never have.

Looks like that Aventador stretch limo never made it past the Computer graphics idea stage.
So there is THIS as a consolation ride::
The chauffeur wears leather.
