Last time they hosted they were in the midst of that fantastic 90s run and made it to the series in that same year, 1997. Here's hoping that the trend repeats itself.

I admit I've not paid a lick of attention to the WBC this year or in the past but this was pretty fucking cool and got me to tune in to tonight's USA-JAP semifinal game.

Man, baseball is great.



Also, this baseball related series looks fucking hilarious. It's got it all: coke, booze, baseball, comedy, failure, redemption, and most importantly: Telling Joe Buck that he sucks ass.

The Yankees have been beasts all spring, have one of the top farms and serious upside this year without the pressure of being The Yankees. Aaron Judge is a giant, Sanchez is the best catcher in baseball, Tanaka is an ace.

Pretty stoked for the season.

I still think the Cubs have the best "young crew," but I am excited for this year's Sox team. They'll be fun to watch.
