    Bachelor Party at Heavenly

I figure someone on this thread may be able to help me out. I am skiing Heavenly in 3 weeks for my bachelor party and I want to do everything I can to find the best lines and powder stashes. I know the mountain is filled with great groomers, but I am from the east coast and all we have out here is groomers. I am not going west to get more of what I can get here, so please help me out and share all of your secret stashes and lines with me so I am not stuck looking for powder during my bachelor party. I promise I wont share them with others, I just want to have a sick bachelor party filled with lines that challenge me and my crew and tons of powder.

    Thanks!

Hire a guide/instructor. Worth it just to jump the lines.

I appreciate the tip, but unfortunately it is a tad too late for that. The house and lift tickets are already booked. So since I am locked into going to Heavenly, how do I make the best of it? I plan on hitting Killebrew and Mott Canyon so any tips on what gates to hit and any general advice for the best lines there will be much appreciated. Also is the Fire Break back country gate worth checking out?

Good question. Unfortunately I do not know the answer to that one and it doesn't really help me out much, but I appreciate the participation!

At least you won't be in Meyers. Good luck in your quest! OB/gate everything I would guess.

Just ask yourself this, "What Would Gucci Do?" and you will do plenty of trappin' through the snow.

Buy those rad pants from KungPow. Then all the "locs" will know how awesome you are and be more likely to show you whats ups. You'll be so stylish.

I'll give you $20 and the privilege of taking my picture while I shred harder wearing them than you could.

There are no stashes in Tahoe - we just like to complain about traffic and mountain ops. No one actually skis.

Like any resort, keep an eye out for people who know what they're doing and follow them. If you can't tell the difference then you don't deserve the stash.

Related story: a few years back I went to Alta for the first time with my cousin. As we're riding up we notice Sage is a couple chairs ahead of us. So naturally we decide to follow him... which worked out great for the first lap but we couldn't keep up. But it was a route we likely wouldn't have discovered on our own and it was worth lapping several times.

Look, I'm not trying to start (interwebz) shit, but your point(s) have been made. Many times. I thought we were all just here to share some stoke, beta, and enjoy the snow we receive.

I have these in a more palatable color and they are great pants. Burton's current 3L offering is 400+.

There was a pretty big and obvious-from-the-side on the southeast ridge of Pyramid ... They are not quite so obvious from above. A friend of mine fell into one somewhere else. He has GoBro footage which he may upload to SAC. I guess that's what happens when you have a massive 4' dump followed by high pressure and warming!
They were present at the bottom of the Cross last Wednesday. But these weren't at a rollover and were before the high pressure. They just seemed like the leftovers of a very large avalanche that traveled a very short distance. They were big enough the look like big blue holes when we were standing on the top.

^Moon Couloir looked pretty intense. Wondering why they call it Peak 9795 instead of Melissa Coray.

Don't be silly. That aint gonna happen.
And keep it real - you will be waking up late with a hangover most days. Right?
If it was me, I would explore Killibrew (skiers right boundary) and Motts. Maybe take easy hike to top of Milky Way Bowl first.
Check out zone that feeds to North Bowl lift.
Ride up Olympic lift, and out of Firebreak Gate.
    >You are now "out of bounds" you dang fool!! (like Tuckermans?).<
Ski down to Casino's/Gondola. Should be enough snow.
Watch out for kids sledding as you exit.

Melissa Coray is the one with the radio tower...at least that's how I've been labeling it over the years.

Its interesting that they are skiing Carnels in the Cirque

    Got it. From summitpost
At 9,763’, Melissa Coray Peak is a sub-peak of Peak 9795. It is perhaps named because it is a prominent peak directly south above Emigrant Lake with a small electric tower on top. Peak 9795 is a more prominent bump on the southeast side of the lake. It has a prominence of just over 500' between it and Thimble Peak 9,805'.
