This is sexy, the other one above looks similar to a vette front, camaro rear & maserati grill. I'm not a fan of the absurdly wide stances in the C7 vette and others. Looking like a car instead of a transformer > marginal improvement in performance to supercar status.

The C6 vette is a beaty though, still has the round tail lights & also has a clean headlight setup.

I'm a big fan of hooning but who the hell goes 200+mph on the highway? Lack of utility negates the benefit yo

With the Grand Turismo you get a super car look for about $70k for a really nice used one. If I was good at wrenching on a car, I would want one, as I think it is gorgeous and the sound they make gives me wood.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Speaking of Astons, THIS kid's got class!!

Although I could probably fit into THIS AM Zagato better:

But sometimes, someone should have the nerve to say NO to their design engineers. THIS would be just such a case: WTF were they thinking????? Nope...no....nahhh....nyet.....nine!!....NO!!!!

    Car Porn.......beauty meets speed (SFW)

Munching in some 'member berries when I came across an old C&D road test for the 1994 McLaren F1. Still may the best super car ever and it's completely analog. I'd do terrible things to drive one.

crazy thing about the F1 is how poorly they sold. Definitely underappreciated at the time

I agree, they make some of the best looking cars on the road, but keep the lines clean guys.

Saw a white and red 458 Aperta in traffic today. Crazy looking car and I didn't care to risk plowing into it to grab a pic. Never seen one before so I looked up the price. Not sure how accurate DuPont is but I guess it's one of 498 and ballpark price of $789,000 !!!???

Yeah. Apertas are about as bad as the 911R.

I sold one for 350k over the MSRP. 458 Speciales are dropping though.

Trading for a 911R in a couple weeks for 200k+ over msrp. Saw one listed in Dupont Registry for 599k. (which is a little more than 400k over.)

    F12 TDFs are 1.3m+ (MSRP of 500-600k.)

In other auto news. THE BOYS ARE BACK!

    That's insane.

Sucks for me because I was really banking on depreciation helping me get into a 911R one day.

Grand Tour put one giant smile on my face last night.

    Such a good show.

991.2 GT3 and GT3 RS are both going to have a manual option this time around.

993 is falling. Here is a good buy. http://www.sonicautomotive.com/used/...a00b6eba9e.htm

I'm torn on the RSR, is it still a 911 or is it a Cayman? (I'm kidding of course) It's all because of the now allowed diffuser right, so I doubt you'll see that engine position translate into the production models right?

But I guess you never know, the Corvette is going mid-engined after all.

Manual GT-3s? That going to drive down the 911R prices?

Yes. I'm just acting as a broker for the 911r so I can sell my cars. Fuck getting hung for a 100k in the next couple of months.

I think we will see a mid engine 911.

but the GT3 street car will get an optional manual transmission. Porsche also confirmed this engine will make it into the next GT3 RS, as well.

Finally got a chance to drive the Golf R in the snow. Holy shit, what a fun car... the whole rig just feels so well balanced. You can turn the ESC all the way off in the MK7. Turn in and give the throttle a little poke... I swear you could drive it at a 50* angle for a mile. Back and forth like a pendulum though the esses south of 232... Bummer it's going to melt this weekend. Looking forward to some snowy drives on 46.

Fucking porsche.. One day it'll be a quad motor, all electric, 6x6 dump truck 911. Why not? If they say it's a 911, it must be a 911. Maybe one day we can have a front engine 911... maybe a 911 motorcycle... Maybe a 911 snowmobile. Or a 911 bendy-bus. They can all have the same fucking headlights.

For a company supposedly so hellbent on perpetual progress, man are they wringing the shit out of this idea. Everyone remembers the 250GT, the E Type, the Muira, etc. What the fuck will people remember about the 911 except that it's a Porsche? Funny to see that, for all these years of auto journalists comparing the 911 and the Corvette as the supposed bookends of the sports car concept, now they're becoming more similar with each iteration.

I hope the new Corvette slaps the 911 around on the track.

The only 911 to best a Corvette around the Nurburgring is the 997 GT2 RS, which are half a million bucks.

The C6 Zr1, which are in the 60s, was only 1.5 seconds off the GT2 RS.

The new Z06 is even faster, and are in the 70s. Corvette represents the best performance value on the market. Used to be GT-R.

    Couple things:

First, that's exactly what I was talking about a page back regarding the last gen Astons vs the new ones. Look how great that looks? Fantastic. Why did they have to shit that up?

Secondly: If I'm paying $600,000 for a 911R I damned well better be getting my fucking hounds-tooth seats.

I bet you could comfortably fit four, no, five dead hookers in that trunk.

Also no need for a geometry degree to get 4 golf bags in the trunk.

That's funny. I'm a golfer and I've never heard dead hookers referred to like that.
