BD - A buddy of mine (who doesn't live on a mountain) just told me he's in the market for a used manual Aston. Got a recommendation? PM me if you want me to hook you up with him. I'd be happy to, although I don't think he's trying to spend a ton of money. Less than 70 I'd think.
That will buy a nice Vantage.
Manual V8s are available for that budget. If he can find another 15k or so, he could get a sub 10k mile 2015 manual V8 Vantage GT.
I am actually going to be out of the country for the next week, but Ill PM you when I get back. Going to drive the car I posted above.

Went to see family this weekend and do some Porsche Club of America stuff. Found out that the 356 Registry was having their annual 'holiday' meet about an hour away so we made a day of it. Had a fantastic drive down 'America's Byway' and got to see some absolutely gorgeous examples and hear some really cool stories to go with them.
I'm a sucker for a houndstooth interior
This one was striking for two reasons: 1) It's the oldest 356 on the road today 2) The restoration was immaculate.
Of course being a Porsche event everyone brought their own - finding the car afterwards was a bit comical. Here's some of my favorites just passing by:
Had never seen a Boxster Spyder in person before; far and away the best looking Boxster I've ever seen. From across the lot I did a double take thinking it was a CGT.
This 912 took it for me. I just loved it.
Favorite one I didn't get a pic of was the new 991 Targa 4 GTS in the same color orange as my Dad's first Porsche. Just awesome. Overall not a bad way to spend a late summer day.
I still call it The Jake.
I thought of snapping a pic of the 9 () 997 GT3s all lined up in the parking lot. The sound of them starting up as they all cruised out together was amazing. I guess the guy who owned that white one didn't get an invite
I'm waiting for stfu to notice what's parked next to the Spyder
Most impressive was how so many of the 356s were driven there from great distances. Not too many trailer queens and a lot of DDs.

I got it right here, he was absent nine times...
Yeah and most were black. Looking sharp. Lots of out of state plates and some guy told us they were running Mid-Ohio on Friday. Sweet sounding machines.

Wow that's sweet! The silver one they showed near the beginning is drool-worthy.

As of now 5649 miles.
If the shocker don't rock her, then Dr. Spock her. Dad.
Those wheels look great

Speaking of Maserati. This car is amazing. 70k start and hard loaded for 103ish.
Spent a lot of time in one today.

That seems like a fairly reasonable price point for what you're getting in to. Then again, that's way too much 'flair' for my tastes.
YMMV.

Considering that a TRD Pro 4Runner is damn near 50k, and a Escalade is 98K, it's really impressive.
100k in a Porsche Cayenne, and you get the hybrid. A like Horsepower car is the GTS at 120k.
Not my cup of tea either, but I plan on moving a few.
The Vantage V12 S I have been driving, is in fact my cup of tea. Porsche has nothing on the raw power of a naturally aspirated V12 and rear wheel drive. British muscle.

When you almost wreck into a 30 Million dollar car.

That ass is so tight, if shoved a lump of coal up there, in you'd have a diamond.

Pic fail, maybe it's my phone but I am disappointed.
